Willow turns 11 today! Yes, she’s a Halloween baby.
This young lady may still be a child but she is certainly living the life of a rock star. The “Whip My Hair” singer recently released a video footage of just what she’s been up to. She’s been quite busy actually. The young star is currently working on new music for debut album, ‘Willow’, expected to be release Spring of 2012.
She’s even teamed up with Nicki Minaj on her most recent single, “Fireball” and will be the star in upcoming film ‘Annie’ off the popular Broadway play which details the life of an orphan adopted by a wealthy business man.
Happy birthday Willow! We can’t wait to see the great things you have in store.

After 13 years of marriage, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have decided to separate, an insider tells In Touch Weekly exclusively. They have two children, Jaden and Willow, together. And Jada is stepmother to Will’s son, Trey, from a previous marriage.

Award season is in full effect. This weekend showboated two of the most popular award shows, ‘Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards’ & ‘Academy of Country Music Awards’.
While the KCA were held at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (April 2) in Los Angeles the ACM was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 3) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
To me these shows are usually a snooze fest but I did pick a few of my best dressed ladies and a gentleman.
Kim Kardashian always delivers. I love this summery look, a frilly white cocktail dress with a plunging neckline paired with wedges.
Keke Palmer has turned out to be such a stunning young lady wearing a black sequined Soltani one shoulder long sleeved mini dress.
During Oprah’s ‘All-Time Smartest, Most Talented Kids’ episode Willow Smith had the privilege of co-host along side the talk show queen herself. The confident and sassy 10 year old not only had co-hosting privileges but also performed hit “Whip My Hair” and new single “21st Century Girl”.
Can’t deny, Willow performs better than some veterans that’s been performing for years.
During her sit down with Lady O here’s some of what Willow had to say.
What does “Whip My Hair” mean?
First of all, whipping my hair is the new, “I am me.” I don’t know what you are doing but I’m me. It’s an anthem about being yourself and not caring what other people think about you. Just do what you feel is right for you.Do you like singing, dancing or acting better?
I think I incorporate it in all that I’m doing because when you’re on the stage, you’re playing to the crowd; you’re acting toward the crowd. You’re giving them the face, so that they scream.What’s an average day in your life like now?
I wake up, ballet class, school, come home [and] record.Looking [from the outside] in, your life looks like a dream life, is it?
It’s a lot of work but it’s like 50 percent work and 102 percent fun.How do you handle the fame now? Has it ever been a problem?
Sometimes, I take this from my mom but I just want to be alone.You’re a fashionista now, Is it better to be on the best dressed list then the not so best dressed list?
It doesn’t make a difference.What does your closet look like? Is it huge?
Giiiiirl. No, it’s like from here to there.Are you constantly taking things out and putting more in?
If I don’t wear something, I’ll donate it and clean out my closet.I hear that you’re opening for Justin Bieber when he goes to the UK.
Yes, I’m so excited because when he’s performing I get to learn a lot from him. He’s energetic and goes around the stage. I like watching him perform.I heard you met Lady Gaga. I think you two would really hit it off, did you?

Willow Smith hasn’t slowed down one bit since her fall musical debut with “Whip My Hair”. The single was an instant hit and the 10 year old has just released second single, “21st Century Girl”, via Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.
Ms. Willow is certainly ahead of her time. The pop/dance infused single is a bit reminiscent of some of Madonna’s earlier sound. It seems Laday Gaga isn’t the only one inspired by the icon.
