Comedian and actor, Tracy Morgan, was rushed to the hospital last night after he collapsed while attending the Sundance Film Festival.
Morgan was being honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards in Park City, Utah and fell unconscious following his acceptance speech and exiting the building.
Although initially thought to be the result of intoxication, a spokeswoman for Park City Medical Center, tells TMZ, no drugs or alcohol were found in Tracy’s system upon medical evaluation.
Morgan’s rep, Lewis Kay, also released a statement saying, “From a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention.”
Already back in good spirits, just this morning the comedian tweeted, “Superman ran into a little kryptonite. The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn.”
This isn’t the first time the star has faced health problems, however. In early 2011 Morgan revealed he had had a kidney transplant from complications of his Type 1 Diabetes.
