During an interview with BET Shermar revealed that while Toni “was a wild ride” Halle was the first woman he’d actually fallen hard for. In fact, he says she was a “necessary experience” that “knocked his socks off”.

For the second time this year Toni Braxton has been hospitalized stemming from health issues related to her Lupus diagnosis.
On Friday night the 45 year old singer tweeted to her Twitter followers, “Hey guys, I’m in the hospital for health issues related to Lupus & Blood clots, I will be home soon…Thanks for all the love&support! Xoxo
Although Toni sounds hopeful, she was hospitalized back in January for much of the same reasons. Pretty hard for her fans and family not to worry don’t you think?
Toni Braxton recently went ‘Behind The Music’ with VH1 and expressed disappointment in a 1998 interview with Oprah Winfrey following her bankruptcy file.
Braxton indicates Oprah had a hand in her music career going south since then.
She says, “She was so frickin’ mean to me. I was in shock.
I couldn’t believe it ‘cause I loved her so much. I admired her and looked up to her and she pretty much reprimanded me.
She says to me, ‘I heard you have Gucci flatware. I’m Oprah Winfrey and I don’t have Gucci flatware’.
You ain’t got Gucci flatware because you didn’t want to buy it, not because you couldn’t afford it! What do you mean?
And immediately she made me feel this big. That moment completely changed my career. It made people look down on me.”

Toni Braxton is back indeed! She is not only starring, along with her four sisters and mother, in their hit reality show, ‘Braxton Family Values’ but the singer is back to what she does best, singing! She recent released new single “I Heart You” and now has released the official visual.
Although the single begins very much like a ballad, it’s actually an uptempo all around fun song that makes you want to dance.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard new music from Toni Braxton but she’s back with dance track, “I Heart You”. She even wrote and produced the single herself, of which, she says there are two versions of. The singles will be made available on I-Tunes. Listen below.

Turns out Toni Braxton may no longer be singing another sad love song. Eddie Murphy and Toni Braxton are said to be ‘dating’ according to some recent reports.
The two have a small tribe of kids between them (10 total) but they are “making it work”. Maybe opposites do attract. Let’s just hope that Eddie is able to keep it together. After his 13 year marriage to model Nicole Murphy, which ended in 2006, and public baby mama drama with former Spice Girl, Mel B, we began to wonder about his ability to have another relationship. Toni’s quest for love has also been a major plot point on The Braxton’s TV series. After her own 8 year marriage to music exec Keri Lewis ended in 2009, Toni has been on a quest to find love again.
The two stars were romantically linked after Murphy was spotted backstage one of Braxton’s Los Angeles concerts recently. A source reported that the couple were “seeing each other and very into it”.
In some sad news this morning, singer Toni Braxton was transported to an L.A. hospital earlier this week after a “flare up” stemming from her Lupus condition. The singer, however, took to twitter yesterday to address all concerns about her health.
She tweeted,
Hey guys! I’m sure you’ve heard rumors about me being in the hospital, they are in fact, true. I’ve been here since Monday but I am fine!
Just a lupus flare up, but I promise you all I am ok! Love you all! Thanks so much for all of your support! Xoxoxoxoxo
The singer also tells TMZ, “I wanted to clear the record before rumors started, and will totally be fine as I’m blessed to having an amazing family for support.”
Braxton revealed she had Lupus last year on hit reality show, ‘Braxton Family Values‘. Lupus is a long-term autoimmune disorder in which the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue. This may include the skin, joints, kidneys, brain, heart and other organs in the body.
On dating white men she says, “I am, I’m playing in the snow (laughs). Its something different. The skin feels different. That’s kind of nice. It smells different (more laughter).”
She also went on to say that the white guy she’s dating at the moment, “he likes hiking, black people don’t hike. Ki yacking? See I can’t pronounce it. Is it called Ki yacking? That stuff too (black people don’t do). That’s pretty much it. But other than that it’s pretty much the same because everyone’s pretty international now.”
On dating her ex-husband: “Well, we go on dates (hinting she doesn’t really considerate it a real date).”

Toni Braxton was recently spotted in Beverly Hills and was asked by the paparazzi whether if rumors she’s dating BET’s Terrence J are true, her favorite X- Factor contestant and Rick Ross.
She says, “I don’t know him. I’m not dating him. He’s a sweet heart but that’s not true.”

Rumor has it Toni Braxton will soon jump on the reality TV bandwagon. WE Network (Women’s Entertainment) has allegedly tapped Braxton to star in her own reality show detailing her financial problems, Braxton filed for bankruptcy recently (twice in ten years), her difficulty raising an autistic son, her own health problems and her recent divorce from husband, and former member of R&B group Mint Condition, Keri Lewis.
“Braxton Family Values” will also feature Toni’s sisters Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar. The show is set to premiere sometime in April.
