After completing a 7 months sentence in a correctional facility Clifford “T.I” Harris and longtime girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle didn’t take long before saying their “I do’s”. It seems the world was back in order and Tip was enjoying his ride back on top. Most recently, Takers the movie which Harris stars along a list of A actors and entertainers took the number 1 spot last weekend.
Unfortunately, the ride didn’t last long! On Wednesday night, T.I and wife Tiny were arrested for possession of a controlled substance on the Sunset Strip in L.A.
The couple’s limo was pulled over after making an illegal U-turn. When cops smelt what they thought was marijuana they proceeded to search the vehicle when they found pills, believe to be methamphetamine and ecstasy.
T.I, who is still on probation for illegal possession of machine guns a few years ago is now being summoned by his corrections officer to return back to him home state of Atlanta, GA.
United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates tells TMZ, “The probation office is in the process of determining what happened and will make a recommendation regarding Mr. Harris when they have all the facts.”
T.I may return back to jail serving a much longer sentence if officials believe he violated his probation.
The couple were released early Thursday morning.
