Lifetime made the official announcement, On Thursday, tweeting, “She was the princess of R&B and now her story is being told. #AaliyahMovie premieres Saturday, November 15.”

More bad new for Lifetime! Although the network was dead set on producing a biopic on the life of the late singer and actress, Aaliyah, they’ve been faced with opposition and set backs. Well, here’s one more. After Aaliyah’s family publicly spoke out against the direction they felt the film had taken, they’ve now decided to produce the movie themselves. In fact, they’re attempting to bypass a television movie and go straight to the big screen.
The film, produced by Aaliyah’s uncle, Barry Hankerson, and said to hit theaters in late 2015, even has a potential leading lady. Independent artist B. Simone is said to have been cast to play the role of the songstress.
“RHOA” reality star and actress Nene Leakes may not be everyone’s cup of tea but there’s one thing she’s extremely good at, and that’s, dragging her haters like filth.
This time, Leakes has got her claws on none other than media maven herself, Wendy Williams.
Nene had more than some choice words for the talk show host. Leakes not only blasted Williams for perpetuating negative gossip but also made sure to point out some of her accomplishments, which, Williams fail to mention while making some not so nice statements regarding Leakes on her show.
In a post, on her official website this morning, Leakes made it clear she did not appreciate Wendy’s continue berate against her, including bashing Leakes’ RHOA image.
Anyone who has watched Basketball Wives knows not to say anything bad about Evelyn Lozada. Or if you do– you will be told or shown that you are a ‘non motha f*ckin’ factor’! Perhaps Wendy Williams didn’t watch that season.
On Monday’s episode, Wendy Williams discussed Evelyn Lozada’s new baby on her Hot Topics segment and her comments seemed more offensive than congratulatory. The outspoken talk show host announced, “Evelyn gave birth to a cash register-I mean a baby boy,” _______READMORE
Former Miss USA, Kenya Moore, visited the set of the Wendy Show Thursday morning to dish on all things ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ style. In true Wendy Williams‘ shady fashion, the talk show maven recently joked about Kenya’s skin but then invites her to the show for a one on one interview. Upon Kenya’s arrival Wendy then says, “You look good.” Then proceeds to ask, “Are you mad at me?” Hilarious!
Kenya says the drama surrounding her attempt to steal Phaedra Park‘s husband Apollo is overrated. She also talks a bit about her beef with the other women on the show and her Miss USA title and accomplishments.
On her accomplishments and criticism she’s since face she also says, “Some people work for a living and some people twerk for a living.” Yeah, whatever that means.
In the wake of Whitney Houston‘s passing, actress Janet Hubert, best known for her role as Aunt Viv on 90′s sitcom ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, pens an open letter to talk show host Wendy Williams after witnessing a tearful Williams speak of the late Houston during a segment on her show.
Williams looked visibly distraught while speaking of her and Whitney’s feud during a radio show hosting days and wishing she [Houston] had overcome her personal struggles and wouldn’t have come to an early demise.
After reflecting on what she saw Janet writes,
This past weekend was a very difficult time for so many of us.
I watched the funeral service with the rest of the world, and cried time and time again with each story that was told. I felt like I knew more about this amazing woman than ever before. We all watched her as a little girl, center stage, singing like a bird, she was _______READMORE
