“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and husband to Phaedra Parks, Apollo Nida, is reportedly on the run. On Wednesday, Nida neglected to show up for his 12 pm deadline to begin an eight- year federal prison sentence for the fraud charges he was convicted of back in May.
Although there are conflicting reports on whether Nida has gone missing or has turned himself in, it’s speculated that his actions were as a result to a heated argument with his wife. It’s also reported that the Bravo cameras were also rolling during the altercation.
There may be some bad news for some “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans.
Following her husband, Apollo Nida’s, conviction and 8 year prison sentence for bank fraud and money laundering, it’s now rumored that Phaedra Parks has opted to take a leave of absence from the popular Atlanta reality show.
According to StraightfromtheA.com, Parks is struggling with the difficult decision on whether she’ll remain married to Nida while preparing to raise two young sons alone while he’s away.
It is perhaps the very reason Parks has considered backing away from the spotlight during this difficult time in her personal life.
Recently convicted of bank and identity fraud, Apollo Nida, is now speaking out against his wife and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality star, Phaedra Parks, for abandoning him.
Apollo recently sat down with Atlanta radio station, B-100 to do just that while discussing his 8 year prison sentence.
According to Parks’ better half, “[she] didn’t even f***ing show up” for his sentencing.
Despite committing a crime that resulted in a prison sentence and leaving his wife and two young sons to fend for themselves, Apollo expresses his hurt for feeling left out in the cold by Parks.
On Tuesday we were all shocked to learn that Apollo Nida, husband to ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star Phaedra Parks, received an 8 year sentence for bank and identity fraud.
We also know that the couple’s fellow ‘RHOA’ co-star, Kenya Moore, has had a contentious relationship with the duo. Moore has been accused of attempting to have an inappropriate with Nida following the demise of her friendship with Parks. Surprisingly, however, Moore had nothing but kind words to say when she learned of Apollo’s sentencing.
Apollo Nida, husband to ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Phaedra Parks, has just gotten eight years for his involvement in bank and identity fraud.
The irony here is that eight years is actually a pretty good sentence considering Nida was facing up to 30 years in a federal prison.
Back in January, we reported that Apollo had beenarrested and facing conviction for bank and identity fraud. _______READMORE

Get this! According to the Huffington Post, entertainment lawyer Phaedra Parks of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ thinks reality TV may cause bullying! Did she forget she’s on one of those shows?
Let’s be honest, no one tunes in to see how classy these women are. In fact, the cattiness and drama is what keeps the viewers tuning in each week. For this reason, I find it amusing Parks would make a comment like this.
“Unfortunately I do think that reality TV has spawned a whole culture of bullying. I believe that the behavior you see on reality TV does not exactly exemplify how adults should be conducting themselves.”
