A person of interest, a man believed to be a relative, was taken into custody, Sunday morning, at the 66th Precinct station. It is not clear at this time if the man was involved in the horrific crime. No official charges have been filed.
Nineteen year old, Trayon Christian, was recently arrested following a pricey shopping spree at Barneys in New York City.
Christian told the NY Daily News he “filed a lawsuit after he was targeted by staffers at Barneys’ Madison Ave. flagship store and detained by police because they didn’t believe a young black man could possibly afford to buy such an expensive belt.”
The teen, a student at the New York City College of Technology student, lives with his mom in Corona, Queens.
Christian explained he used his paycheck, obtained from his work-study job, and went straight to Barneys on the afternoon of April 29 to purchase a pricey Salvatore Ferragamo belt ($349).
“I knew exactly what I wanted,” Christian said. “It was a quick trip. I gave them my debit card, I signed my name,” he added.
Trayvon Martin‘s stepmother, Alicia Stanley, visited Anderson Live to share her thoughts on George Zimmerman and whether she feels he targeted her stepson because he was black.
Stanley tells Anderson, “I really don’t think it was Zimmerman don’t like black people, or he picked him out because he was black.”
“Did he profile him with the hoodie and stuff like that as this thug, whatever, walking, in Zimmerman’s mind? Yes, but to say that he targeted him because he was black? No, I don’t think so,” she also added.
We’re not quite sure if we agree with what Ms. Stanley had to say. What are your thoughts on the matter?

The President wants us to know he had nothing with giving the couple clearance. During a ‘Today’ show interview to discuss more pressing matters, like the Boston bombing, the President stated “We have more important things to worry about…”
On the couple’s trip to the communist country he says, “I wasn’t familiar that they were taking the trip. My understanding is I think they went through a group that organizes these educational trips down to Cuba.”
As for Jay’s “Open Letter” song addressing the controversy over his trip and insinuating the President gave him the okay, Obama expresses that the song is simply artistic expression and bears no truth.

Where was Oprah? All weekend we watched as President Obama, the First Lady and celebs prepared for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration and Ball. But someone was clearly out of site. And that’s Lady O.
Back in 2009, Oprah was one of Obama’s biggest supporters. She even invited the then governor on her daytime talk show, and single-handedly, introduced him to millions of Americans. She was even given credit for helping him win the election when she donated millions to his 2008-2009 campaign. However, this time around Oprah has been surprisingly quiet. So we’re curious. Could something be wrong between the Obamas and the talk show queen? We certainly hope not!
Oprah was not only visibly absent from all the Inaugural fuss this week she also seemed less enthusiast during Obama’s 2012 re-election. In fact, we can’t remember her being on the campaign trail. Can you? Unless, she was a silent sponsor of course.
This morning the Internet was on buzz over the Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, Jovan Belcher. Not because of his athletic ability, but because of a tragic event that took place early this morning. Kasandra Perkins was killed by boyfriend Belcher, shortly after coming home from a Trey Songz concert. Belcher then, reportedly, drove to Arrowhead Stadium and committed suicide in front of his coach and general manager. Belcher was 25 and Perkins was 22. According to Perkins friend, the couple had been dating for about three years but she never saw any type of physical abuse even though they argued frequently. Perkins was out late after attending the concert and the couple allegedly argued about this. Trey Songz took to Twitter to comment on the event stating:
It’s unfathomable that racism still exist today. What happened to debris contractor, Brandy Worley, while monitoring hurricane debris cleanup in Grand Isle is despicable. When a misunderstanding occurred among workers and a man on sight Worley began recorded the incident and the man’s violent outburst. Once he became aware she was recording, she was also assaulted, spit on, and called the “N” word.
Worley says, “I’m pleading with him not to touch me and leave me alone. Nothing was said to him to upset him, then he goes and spits in my face. He did the cruelest thing he could think of to demean me, break me and make me feel less than human.”

Michael Jackson’s son, Prince, 15, is speaking out for the first time about all the drama among the Jackson family. In his twitter message, the teen didn’t go into specific details but did shed some light on just how he feels. He says he now knows his grandmother was lied to and that there are some family members who intentionally kept him and his siblings from having contact with her.
Here’s what he had to say.
“I would first like to start off this tweet by thanking the fans that have always stood by me and my family, my dad really appreciated your support and I still treasure it to this day. As I am sure everyone is well aware of the events that have been going on. I have been holding off on backing up my sister and her tweets avidly because I was waiting for the time to reveal my side. As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, _______READMORE
In the slew of Jackson family drama, Michael Jackson‘s nephew, TJ Jackson (Tito Jackson‘s son), has been named the temporary guardian for his three children Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 8.
It all started with a simple tweet from Paris Jackson asking where her grandmother had been and in the past week we’ve heard more details about the fight over MJ’s estate and the lack of care given to his children.
According to TMZ, Wednesday afternoon a Los Angeles
Judge, Mitch Becklook, made TJ the temporary guardian and suspended Katherine Jackson’s guardianship.
What in the world could be going on with those Jacksons. First Katherine Jackson goes missing, Paris Jackson goes on a Twitter rant about her missing grandmother, the Jackson family’s ongoing dispute with the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate and now the reported fight at Katherine Jackson’s home where Michael’s kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket all live.
Although the names were protected, the incident involves Jermaine, Randy and Janet Jackson along with Michael’s kids. In the video Janet Jackson attempts to take her niece’s cell phone and scolds her for detailing family issues on Twitter. Randy Jackson and Prince are also seen exchanging words but did not come into contact. They’re then seen heading into the home.
Reportedly, Janet Jackson and niece Paris Jackson got into a physical altercation when attempts were made to remove the kids from the house. Watch below.
Reportedly, Janet seems to think 14 year old Paris is a bit of a brat and needs proper guidance.
