Nene Leakes is here to stay! She has just become the highest paid housewife of the franchise, receiving $1.5 million during season 7 of the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’
Every Sunday, when the popular Bravo reality series is on, eyes are glued and mouths are closed to see all the drama that will unfold. Between the casts and their ongoing spectacles, RHOA delivers the goods and hasn’t let its audience down, at least not yet. Although other series have had great seasons, including the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Beverly Hills and New York, the Atlanta spin-off has done tremendously well — being the highest rated among the franchises.
“RHOA” reality star and actress Nene Leakes may not be everyone’s cup of tea but there’s one thing she’s extremely good at, and that’s, dragging her haters like filth.
This time, Leakes has got her claws on none other than media maven herself, Wendy Williams.
Nene had more than some choice words for the talk show host. Leakes not only blasted Williams for perpetuating negative gossip but also made sure to point out some of her accomplishments, which, Williams fail to mention while making some not so nice statements regarding Leakes on her show.
In a post, on her official website this morning, Leakes made it clear she did not appreciate Wendy’s continue berate against her, including bashing Leakes’ RHOA image.
After a drama filled season six of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ original cast member, Nene Leakes, is said to have ended her contract with Bravo.
It was a tweet that Leakes sent out this morning that may have sparked rumors of her departure.
She tweeted, “Good morning tweetie pies! Never continue n a job u don’t enjoy! Follow ur passion & success will follow u! Hav a great day.”
If you’ve been tuned in to the drama-filled “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 6 reunion show, then you know there’s no-holds barred when it comes to the housewives. That’s very much the case for former besties, Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey.
Following Cynthia’s teary-eyed plea to Leakes (who was stoned face the whole time) for calling her husband, Peter Thomas, a bitch and for being disrespectful to their friendship, Leakes blasted her cast mate for being a fraud.
Leakes wrote an open letter that she shared on social media. She wrote,
“AS HOPEFUL AS I WAS 4 US 2 BE LIFE FRIENDS I’AM NOT SURPRISED OUR FRIENDSHIP HAS ENDED &; IT TRULY SADDEN ME! REALITY FRIENDSHIPS NEVER LAST ANYWAY SO HOW FOOLISH WAS I TO THINK I HAD MADE SOMETHING SPECIAL! _______READMORE
Following Sunday night’s explosive blow up with “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast mates, Porsha Williams and Kenya Mooore, Moore and fellow cast member Nene Leakes are now speaking out about the altercation.
It was actually Moore who broke her silence releasing an official statement prior to the airing of ‘RHOA’ reunion show.
During the taping of the Reunion Episode for the Real Housewives of Atlanta, I was violently attacked by Porsha Williams,” Moore writes. “The episode, which aired tonight, Sunday, April 20, 2014, was taped in front of an audience of over 50 people, which included cast, crew, guests and executives, who served as witnesses. _______READMORE
Nene Leakes is throwing some serious shade against her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and former friend Cynthia Bailey.
During Leakes’ one-on-one sit down with the show creator Andy Cohen during Watch What Happens Live, she expressed her issue with Cynthia and why the ladies are no longer friends.
Leakes also hints on which housewife she feels may need to get kicked off the popular reality show. Surprisingly, she notes that although she doesn’t like Kenya Moore, she isn’t one of them.
Watch what Nene had to say below.
Nene Leakes and her “Dancing With the Stars” partner Tony Dovolani joined Nick Lachey on his VH1 “Big Morning Buzz Live” show to discuss all things “Dancing…” and all things reality TV.
Leakes was asked about the now infamous fight between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams during the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season six reunion show taping and she did not hold back in dishing the details.
“There was a physical confrontation, it happened on the reunion,” Nene confirmed. “You know I don’t condone violence. I do condone a little reading and we can get in each others face and talk a little trash but you need to keep your hands to yourself..But they actually touched each other.”
“It actually got physical.”
Have you been watching the new season of “Dancing With The Stars?” Well, I haven’t but I am interested in seeing how well Nene Leakes will do during the season eighteen lineup.

Here we r Right after our dance & he was still smiling! We r doing my husbands favorite dance (not mine) The Jive.”

Although we previously revealed that Atlanta housewife, Nene Leakes and former Full House child actress Candace Cameron Bure would be among the cast (See HERE), we were surprised at some of the contestants who were revealed.

Is Nene Leakes, 43, joining the “Dancing With the Stars” season 18 cast? That’s so according to some recent reports.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality star and actress may need some much needed time away from all the drama and her fellow housewives to put on her dancing shoes.
Real Housewife of Atlanta‘s NeNe Leakes may have wanted to get all the couples together for some ‘Pillow Talk’, but let’s face it — there is always more than just ‘talking’ on reality shows! On the most recent episode of RHOA, Leakes hosted a pajama party (She says, “It’s almost like a free couple’s counseling…in pajamas.”) to help her guests move past any problems they have had with each other. C’mon, unless there is a miracle, that is not happening!
Nene grilled her guests and cast mates about their marriages by asking awkward questions she’d written on cards beforehand. Initially the couples seemed to have been having a good time, of course, that didn’t last long. NeNe mentioned Kenya’s comments about Natalie and Christopher’s marriage (not being legitimate) and that in itself threw the entire game off. What we saw, was Christopher then approaching Kenya, who attempted to leave the room, him grabbing her, and her friend Brandon intervening. Peter (Cynthia’s husband) then approaches to break the fight up before it began, he’s then shoved by Brandon and Apollo (Phaedra Park’s husband) intervenes, only this time, the altercation was a full on brawl between the three men.
On Monday, NeNe took her blog to dissect the fight and what really took place and that she does not approve of violence and mainly views Kenya as the reason why the fight broke out. Here’s what she had to say….
The newly engaged NeNe and Gregg Leakes have been making their rounds on daytime television revealing they are in fact engaged and how they were able to find love again. By the way, Gregg’s been looking pretty savvy and gentlemenly. We like…
Ohhhh…and we’re loving NeNe’s shoes! We’ll have to discover where she got them.
Don’t they look happy? Congrats again NeNe and Gregg.
