50 Cent is going independent. Following the end of a five-album deal with Interscope/Aftermath records, 50 has chosen to leave the record company — making his G-Unit label independently owned and operated.
The rapper has just secured a worldwide distribution deal with Caroline/Capitol/UMG in anticipation for his new album, ‘Animal Ambition’, June 3rd release date.
“I have had great success to date with Shady/Aftermath/Interscope and I’d like to thank Eminem and Dr. Dre for giving me an incredible opportunity,” he said in a statement. “I’ve learned so much from them through the years. I am excited to enter this new era where I can carry out my creative vision.”
Cee-Lo Green will not be returning to NBC’s “The Voice.”
The musician made the announcement during a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
“I’m not coming back, guys,” Green, 39, told Ellen.
“I don’t want to wear out my welcome there.”

The announcement came earlier today, via the group’s official Twitter page. The tweet read, “Outkast will return to the stage with a full festival run of over 40 dates to celebrate 20 years. #Outkast20 – Team Outkast”

The pop star won her first ever People’s Choice Award, naming the singer the people’s “Favorite Pop Artist.”
Of her win Spears later shared a photo of her award win, during the ceremony, tweeting, “OMG! Thank you so much for choosing me as your Favorite Pop Artist! I love y’all so much! Xo!”

In her E! documentary, “I Am Britney Jean,” over the weekend, the 32 year old singer admitted that there are times she thinks about slowing down and retiring entirely.
“I have thought about it,” Spears told E!. “If I happen to have another baby or something like that, I’d probably move back to Louisiana. I do miss Louisiana. I miss the people. I miss the food. I miss the way of life, how everything is really simple.”

Demi Lovato is out! As in, done with her judging responsibilities on music competition show, ‘X-Factor’.
Following two seasons on the judging panel Lovato said, “I started the show being a singer and a musician, and so I’m going to go back to that,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s been really great, but I’m so excited for 2014. I’m going to dedicate it completely and entirely to music – touring and making a new album. Possibly releasing one.”
Creator Simon Cowell also confirmed the news last night adding, “I always knew she wasn’t coming back because she’s touring, so I knew that.”
