Making her promotional rounds following Sunday night’s explosive episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta’, Porsha Stewart visited The Wendy Show on Monday to dish on her beef with Kenya Moore.
Porsha discusses the reason for wanting to join the ‘RHOA’ cast, what her real issue is with Kenya Moore and more with Wendy when you continue below.
Kenya Moore is finally addressing allegations Walter Jackson made on Monday admitting to their relationship being fake for the purpose of appearing on Bravo’s hit reality show “Real Housewives of Atlanta”. She says his statements are “false and embarrassed she let a deceitful and hateful person” in her life.
In an official statement Kenya says,
“The truth is and has always been that I want to be in a loving, honest, long-term relationship with someone who genuinely loves me for me — Walter’s recent statements are completely false. I am embarrassed that I allowed a deceitful and hateful person in my life.
He says he ‘did it for fame.’ I’ve been humiliated enough by appearing desperate for a man to marry me who now admits he had his own agenda. I urge viewers to stay tuned because the truth will come to light. I am moving on from this situation and hope he can as well with respect and dignity going forward. I have heard the fans and my friends loud and clear … I can do better than Walter, and I will.”
Kenya is also set to appear on The Wendy Show today to further clear up Walter’s “confession” and clear the air.
Hmmmm….something ain’t right. Not sure if I believe Ms. Kenya Moore. Although I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, if it wasn’t for the fact that we now know she’s a bit crazy this statement would have appeared more sincere.
What are your thoughts? So you believe Kenya? Or would you side with Walter Jackson?
Well, not that we’re surprised or anything but the relationship between Kenya Moore and Walter Jackson as depicted on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is fake!
Moore has come off desperate and silly as she practically begs her boyfriend, Walter, who she’s chosen to move to Atlanta to pursue a deeper relationship with, to marry her. The storyline has left viewers wondering why is Kenya so desperate to marry a man who is obviously not that into her. She even suggested they elope or marry on the island of Anguilla while vacationing with the other cast mates, as shown in Sunday night’s episode. Too bad Kenya’s acting skills is that convincing, she’s been visibly flirting with other men including Phaedra Park’s husband Apollo.
Former Miss USA, Kenya Moore, visited the set of the Wendy Show Thursday morning to dish on all things ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ style. In true Wendy Williams‘ shady fashion, the talk show maven recently joked about Kenya’s skin but then invites her to the show for a one on one interview. Upon Kenya’s arrival Wendy then says, “You look good.” Then proceeds to ask, “Are you mad at me?” Hilarious!
Kenya says the drama surrounding her attempt to steal Phaedra Park‘s husband Apollo is overrated. She also talks a bit about her beef with the other women on the show and her Miss USA title and accomplishments.
On her accomplishments and criticism she’s since face she also says, “Some people work for a living and some people twerk for a living.” Yeah, whatever that means.
Watch Wendy’s interview with Kenya below.
The newest addition to ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reality franchise Miss Kenya Moore is crazy! And we mean, crazy for coco puffs, a looney bin, loo-loo loco! The former Miss USA (I thought it was Miss Universe until I was properly informed but excuse me for trying to give her an upgrade).
But here’s what I’m getting at. Were you all as shocked as I was when you watched the premiere episode of ‘RHOA’ season 5? I mean wow at Miss Kenya!!!
I remember Kenya all too well. Why? Because the year she won Miss USA, 1993, she made news as the second black women in history to claim the title, behind Carole Anne-Marie Gistin 1990. (Although we previously reported actress Vanessa Williams was the first African American woman to win she actually was the first to win Miss America (two different pageants).
The night she won I had been watching and I remember it being a moving and emotional experience to watch a black woman win. It was major news in the black community. Following her win, Moore dabbled in acting and continued to model and even started her own production company but, I think we can all agree, her Miss USA win was the highlight of her career.
Following Monday night’s airing of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ we know one thing, this season’s going to be explosive for sure. There’s already some drama brewing between Cynthia Bailey and new cast mate Kenya Moore, aka the looney tune.
If you watched the very first episode, you’ll know, Kenya was pretty rude to models who were auditioning at the Bailey Agency for an opportunity to do a spread for Essence magazine. Cynthia invited Kenya, a fellow model, and was surprised by her candidness. After watching the others commentary the ladies took to their Bravo Blog to vent on the matter.
Former Miss USA 1993, actress and model Kenya Moore is confirmed to be Sheree Whitfield‘s replacement on Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’.
In a recent interview Moore told Sister2Sister, “I’ve had an opportunity recently to be on a reality show. I feel like it’s almost like my duty to take the job because it’s the converse of what we’re seeing now.”
“I can say that it’s an already established franchise. I’m back and forth between Atlanta and L.A….primarily Atlanta. Wink, wink!”
I was a bit surprised that Kenya was chosen as Sheree’s replacement. Moore is an established model and actress. Typically the “housewives” are women trying to get out of their husband’s shadows (if they have one) in hopes of creating a brand, gaining further success and being presented with more opportunities.
