Death Row Records founder, Suge Knight, and comedian, Katt Williams, were arrested and charged with robbery on Wednesday after allegedly stealing a photographers camera last month. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney the incident occurred on September 5, 2014 outside of a studio in Beverly Hills.
Well, wasn’t that the shortest retirement in history?! Katt Williams is back after announcing his retirement from stand up comedy days ago. The announcement from a teary eyed Williams was even captured on a live Seattle news station.
However, his management team has released this press release just yesterday. The statement, issued via TMZ, reads, “Katt is definitely NOT retiring. He will be moving forward with the tour … Friday is Texas, Saturday New Orleans, and on to Alabama.” It continues…
“The reason why he made remarks was due to him feeling totally disrespected by all the things that happen to him in the city of Seattle. He had a moment where he felt very unappreciated. He now just wants to move forward from those unfortunate events and give his fans outstanding shows from this point forward.”
Katt Williams says he’s retiring from stand up comedy. Following his several arrests after drunken altercations and fights including one where he slapped a Target worker he’s giving up comedy. During a live interview with Seattle’s KOMO Channel 4 News Katt Williams announces he’s quitting comedy with tears streaming down his face.
Katt Williams has sure come a long way in ruining his career since MTV’s ‘Wild n’ Out’. The comedian whose career was once on an upward spiral to greatness has gotten arrested again, twice in the past month. Williams was arrested after getting into a brawl at an Oakland nightclub.
