Are ex ‘Basketball Wives’ besties, Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams, on the road to reconciliation? That may be so for one of the women, but, not so much for the other.
Earlier in the week, Evelyn expressed, via social media, that she had missed her former BFF when she tweeted the below message.
Rumor has it Jennifer Williams of ‘Basketball Wives’ has signed a record deal and is currently working on her first album. Our friends over at TattleTailzz.com received the exclusive tip from an inside source detailing Williams is stepping away from reality television to become a singer. The site reports, “Jennifer Williams has a record deal thanks to her new boo who are heavy in the industry!”
Question is who is Jennifer’s new boo and who the heck knew she could sing? She’s never hinted at a singing caeer on Basketball Wives right? She’s never even belted out a tune on the show? So where’s this coming from?

‘Basketball Wives’ Jennifer Williams is dropping her lawsuit against ex-friend and attacker Nia Crooks. Although Crooks slapped Jen during an altercation during a season 4 episode, Williams has decided the trial isn’t worth all the trouble. Surprising considering Williams was adamant about making an example of Crooks.
Back in January TMZ reported, Williams had filed a lawsuit against Crooks (following the airing of the episode) which claimed she suffered serious injuries and psychological damage after Crooks slapped her across the face. However, it appears, she’s had a change of heart. Jen abandoned her lawsuit earlier this month and filed court documents to end the lawsuit.
A rep for Jennifer tells TMZ she is “already dealing with her difficult divorce and did not feel that it was necessary to continue to pursue civil action.”

Former best friends and ‘Basketball Wives’ stars Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada have been in the news more for their public feud and disdain for each other more so than anything else lately. On Thursday an “unofficial” interview was released of Jen dishing to S2S magazine about one of the reasons for their falling out.
“Let me tell you what she’s mad over ‘cause this always comes up. She hates the fact that I’m really good friends with NeNe [Leakes], and she hates the fact that me and Mashonda are good friends. I feel like it’s all coming from a place of hurt, and she’s turning it into anger,” says Jen.
“Why do you care who I’m friends with? Like, that’s ridiculous. I live in New York. You live in Miami. I don’t care who you hang out with. I’m kinda over it because I just feel like I’m at a point at my life where I’m trying to get rid of negative energy,” she said. “To me, I feel like it’s something so minuscule. It’s not like I slept with Chad. It’s not something irreparable. It’s something stupid that you’re mad over. If you really are mad because I have other friends, I think that’s completely ridiculous.
I don’t say anything to her, and she doesn’t say anything to me.”
Season 4 of ‘Basketball Wives: Miami’ have yet to make its premiere but sparks are already flying among cast mates, old and new.
Cast member Jennifer Williams sits down withTT Torrez of Power 92.1 FM to discuss what we can expect in the upcoming season, stepping out of the shadow of her ex-husband Eric Williams and her relationship with the fellow ‘Basketball Wives’. She even dishes on the rumored falling out and fight with one time best friend Evelyn Lozada.
Here are a few excerpts of her interview…
On Spending The Holidays Without ex-husband Eric Williams & getting back to dating:
Actually last year, I was alone, too, because we weren’t like technically separated, but we kind of were. I am dating, not one specific person though…I’m not trying to rush into anything.
On Rumors of A Rocky Friendship With Evelyn & Twitter Beef:
If you follow me on Twitter, I don’t do subliminal tweets. I don’t throw jabs at my friends. If you have my phone number, just text me or whatever. She threw a couple of jabs at me on Twitter…I don’t have a problem with her. She has one with me. I definitely think there’s a bigger issue, but you guys will have to tune into Season IV to figure it out.
Last night’s ‘Basketball Wives’ 3 Reunion show did not disappoint. Like they say, being bad can be so good. Well, good for all the viewers who tuned in anyway. Let’s take a recap of some of the show’s most notable moments.
