Halle Berry, 45, has become engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez, 46. The couple dated for a over a year after meeting on the set of film ‘Dark Tide’ in 2010.

Although the actress said she’d never get married again, after a very painful and messy divorce from singer Eric Bonet in 2005, she seems to have found love again.

According to Us Weekly, Martinez proposed, over the holidays, with an emerald-and-diamond ring from Gurhan confirms a store rep.

Halle’s has had two failed marriages, her first with former baseball player David Justice in 1997, after only four years of marriage, and her second to Bonet in 2001. The marriage ended in 2003 after discovering Bonet had cheated. The multiple affairs was made public and the couple’s divorce became finalized in 2005. Halle then revealed during an interview with talk show queen Oprah Winfrey that she would never marry again.

Although those marriages didn’t produce any children, Berry did, however, have a daughter, Nahla, 3, with model Gabriel Aubry after dating for nearly five years.

A source tells Us she “had given up on being married, but she trusts Olivier. He makes her feel safe. He’s a keeper!”
