Bill and Giuliana Rancic are finally parents!

The couple welcomed a baby boy, Edward Duke, around 10:12pm Wednesday night.

“The ‘Duke’ has landed!” tweeted Bill. “Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words…We did it!”

Baby Edward was delivered via a surrogate after the couple struggled to have a baby on their own for over a year. The difficulty of having a baby was further heightened by Giuliana’s own health crisis, a breast cancer diagnosis and double mastectomy last fall.

Giuliana And Bill Rancic, Having A Boy!

Congratulations to Giuliana and Bill Rancic! The E! news correspondent and realtor are expecting a baby boy.

The couple, who’ve documented their trouble while trying to get pregnant on their Style network reality show ‘Giuliana & Bill’, opted for a surrogate this time around.

On Sunday, Giuliana was happy to announce the baby’s sex. She tweeted, “Beyond excited to announce @BillRancic and I are having a……….BOY!!!!!”

Giuliana has also overcome both a breast cancer diagnosis and lumpectomy. She later underwent a double mastectomy once cancer cells were once again discovered. We’re so happy she’s finally going to be mother and is in good health!

Giuliana Rancic Has Successful Double Mastectomy

Giuliana Rancic is doing quite well this morning after undergoing a successful double mastectomy. The E! News correspondent, who revealed her breast cancer diagnosis a couple months back, recently decided to undergo the procedure after a failed lumpectomy.

Husband Bill Rancic tells E!, “G is doing really well. Her surgery lasted about four hours and the doctors were very pleased with the result.”

“She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes,” Bill added.

Rancic is expected to make a full recovery and back at work in no time. She’ll later undergo breast enhancement surgery.

Giuliana Rancic Announces She’ll Undergo Double Mastectomy After Breast Cancer Battle

After announcing her breast cancer diagnosis this past October on NBC’s ‘The Today Show’ E! news correspondent, Giuliana Rancic is making yet another shocking announcement. The TV personality and reality star has decided to undergo a double mastectomy.

With much deliberation and research she says, “It was not an easy decision but it was the best decision for me. Rancic chose to make the announcement, once again, on ‘The Today Show’ this morning.

She also went on to say, “The overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers and support really helped me heal faster,” after announcing her breast cancer diagnosis six weeks ago. “I want to make sure to thank everyone and give them an update for being so kind and loving and supportive.”

Giuliana Rancic Recovering After Breast Surgery

After announcing her battle with breast cancer earlier in the week, Giuliana Rancic underwent a double lumpectomy on Tuesday as part of her treatment, her husband Bill Rancic said Thursday on the Today show.

The E! News host, 37, had cancerous growths in both breasts removed. Doctors also removed lymph nodes that they believed may have been affected.

“Giuliana is a trooper. She pulled through it,” Bill Rancic, 40, said. “She’s relieved to have it over with and get the cancer out. She’s doing well at home and recovering – and I’m adding nurse to my resume. She’s having fun with that.”

E! News Reporter Giuliana Rancic Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

In some very sad news, Giuliana Rancic,36, revealed on the ‘Today Show’ this morning that she has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Rancic, who has struggled to conceive, documented in her and husband Bill Rancic‘s reality show ‘Bill & Giuliana’, discovered she had had a tumor when her doctor advise she get a mammogram prior to beginning the in-vitro process.

The popular E! News reporter told host Ann Curry,

“Through my attempt to get pregnant through IVF, we sadly found out that I have early stages of breast cancer. It’s been a shock.”

“I wasn’t prepared to get a mammogram until I was 40 years old, like I’d been told. I never in my wildest dreams expected anything to be wrong,” she explained.
