After a very bitter and nasty divorce battle, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality stars Porsha Williams and Kordell Stewart are officially divorced.
Not that we should be surprised but, considering he’s the one who filed the initial paperwork to end his 2 and a half year marriage, Kordell admits he couldn’t be happier.
Kordell’s lawyer, Shiel Edlin, who spoke with TMZ, confirmed the news and says, “Stewart is “very disappointed” the marriage fell apart, because he expected to be married for life.”
If you’ve been tuning in to season 6 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” then you know things haven’t been so good between husband and wife Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida.
In fact, much of the show has been about Apollo’s inappropriate relationship with fellow housewife, Kenya Moore.
On Tuesday, December 2nd, Phaedra visited TV host Bethenny Frankel on her daytime talk show, ‘Bethenny’, to discuss just that.
Frankel, who knows all too well about how reality television can ruin a relationship, asked Parks about the state of her relationship with Apollo since “Kenyagate”.
Dismissing any claims that there is a strain within her marriage, Phaedra quickly replied with, “As far as me and my husband? Oh, we’re fine.”
Phaedra did go on to say that she felt Apollo was partly to blame for texting and continuing a friendship with Moore after the two ladies had had a fall out. She also admits it’s been difficult to watch the drama unfold each week on the popular reality series.
It’s over for another Hollywood couple. After six years together, Orlando Bloom, 36, and wife Miranda Kerr,30, have broken up.
A rep for the actor and model confirmed the news to E! News adding, “In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation.”
The statement continued with, “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.”
The couple met and began dating in 2007. In July 2010 they were married and welcomed son, Flynn, on January 6, 2011.
We wish the couple well.
Another one bites the dust.
Master P and wife of 24 years, Sonya Miller, are divorcing.
It was just yesterday, when we reported, music producer and rapper Timbaland’s wife filed for a divorce. And, just a few weeks ago rapper Big Boi‘s wife filed as well.
We’re beginning to wonder if these divorce filings are creating a rippling affect.
Music producer, Timbaland, and wife of five years, Monique Mosley, are heading for a divorce.
It was Mrs. Mosley who filed for the divorce — requesting child support for not only the couple’s 5 year old daughter but Monique’s 10 year old son from a previous relationship.
In her filing, Mosley notes that although she and Timbaland, real name Timothy Zachery Mosley, have been married for only 5 years, they’ve been a couple for twice that time.
She also notes that the musician has “publicly and privately proclaimed the child (her son) as his own,” hence, her reason for requesting additional child support.
Monique also requests alimony, life insurance, private school, vacations, summer camp and other expenses.
But it doesn’t end there. Monique wants Timbaland, worth an estimated $80 million, to also pay for her lawyer’s fees for their divorce proceedings.
After several weeks of their being no sign of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom in public together, the couple was finally spotted driving to mom Kris Jenner‘s home yesterday.
They were on their way to Kris’s home, not long after the announcement of the momager’s separation from step-dad Bruce Jenner, by the way.
Unfortunately, Lamar and Khloe’s marriage still seems to be up in the air. _______READMORE
Outkast rapper Big Boi (real name Antwon Patton) and wife of twelve years Sherita Patton are headed for a divorce.
Mrs. Patton filed paperwork in an Atlanta court, on Wednesday, Oct. 2nd, citing that the marriage is “irrevocably broken.”
Dwyane Wade‘s ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches, and her legal team can’t seem to catch a break. Dispute over the visitation rights she has with her two sons have come under questioning after two court appointed workers quit the case.
Perhaps, they feel their time could be better spent elsewhere.
Last July, Ms. Funches pretended to be homeless outside Chicago’s homeless center in an attempt to gain media coverage of her custody case with D. Wade.
Bad news for ‘Scandal’ actor Columbus Short. The actor’s wife has just filed for divorce after eight years of marriage.
According to Radar Online, Short’s wife, Tanee McCall-Short (aka “Tuere”) has just filed for divorce, in Los Angeles on September 11, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple, married in 2005, have a 19 month old daughter together, Ayala.
Despite all those divorce rumors (See HERE), it seems, Michael Douglas and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones are just fine.
In fact, it’s just what the actor stated while promoting his new film, ‘Behind the Candelabra’ in Germany on Monday.
“I have a crisis at home? No, I think the press has a crisis,” Douglas told a reported.
He didn’t exactly dispel rumors of a separation, however. _______READMORE
