Chad Johnson Gets Out Of Jail Early!

Chad Johnson was released from a Florida county jail a lot sooner than we all thought. After getting 30 days behind bars for slapping his attorney on the butt during his court appointed hearing a week ago, the judge in the case has granted his request for leniency.

After a week long stint in jail, Mr. Ochocinco is now a free man. The NFL player appeared in front of a Florida judge this morning, still handcuffed, while she revisited the case stemming from his 2012 domestic violence dispute with ex-wife Evelyn Lozada.

The judge found the gesture offensive and removed the deal off the table. In fact, Johnson is slated to spend more time than he would have if he’d been found guilty of his original offense — his probation violation.

Chad Johnson was just arrested earlier today on a probation violation stemming from his 2012 domestic dispute with then wife, Evelyn Lozada.

Last week, a warrant was issued for the NFL players arrest after he failed to appear at a scheduled meeting with his probation officer. He also failed to show any proof he had been attending domestic violence courses on two separate occasions.

Johnson was present in a Broward County courtroom when the judge ordered that he be arrested and jailed for his violation.

His bond has been set for $1,000.
