It’s Friday and I’m sure many of you are just getting home from work. Either you’re looking for the nearest party, you’ve decided to call it a night, curl up with a honey and watch a movie, have a glass of wine or all of the above.
While you make plans for the night here’s a record you can vibe to. The record is the latest from T-pain off forthcoming album, ‘Revolver’, and it features Dawn of Danity Kane and most recently Dirty Money. Escape from reality for a bit and enjoy “Fantasy”.
T-Pain & his LIVE band recently covered Young Money’s “Every Girl” at the Houston Heineken Show @ Club Venue! This was from the Red Star Soul Heineken Tour in Texas.
I thought he did a well enough job on this. He put a little T-pain on the record and obviously the people liked it. I’ve always though T-pain was a great live performer, he’s definitely got energy and it shows here. His band were even enjoying themselves as well. I look forward to hearing his next album.
21 year old Atlanta rapper, Dolla, who was signed by Akon to Konvict Music Label, was fatally shot in the head at Beverly Center Mall in LA yesterday afternoon.
The rapper was allegedly shot over an unknown female. Suspect Aubery Berry was arrested after attempting to flee Los Angeles at LAX airport following the shooting. He’s now in custody by the LAPD.
Dolla, whose real name is Roderick Anthony Burton II is best known for his single with Akon and T-Pain titled “Who The Heck (Fu*k) Is That.” He was in the works to release his official debut album with JIve Records later this year.
I remember meeting him about a year ago and he was so humble and respectful. So sad, R.I.P.
An official first single has been release for Ciara’s up coming third studio album Fantasy Ride. The single is titled “Go Girl” featuring none other than the certify hit maker T-pain. The album, which was originally set for a fall release has been pushed back for an early 2009 release. Hopefully with this single and the right promotion Ciara can reach to the top of the charts. However, with slow album sales and cut budgets many Record labels have slowed promotion on their artists, pushing albums back until they have proven to have profitable markets with high demand. We’ll have to see how this one plays out. Not another push back I hope. Enjoy… Ciara feat. T-pain: Go Girl
