Stacey Dash Leaves VH1 Hit Series “Single Ladies”

It had been rumored, pretty much from the start, that Stacey Dash would not be  a permanent fixture on the “Single Ladies” series. There were reports of Dash’s diva like behavior and inability to get along with co-star Lisa Raye. However, producers of the hit VH1 series and Raye herself chimed in to dispute those claims. And now for the first time the actress has decided to address the issue. In an official statement via Global Grind Dash was quoted as saying,

“I truly enjoyed playing Val on ‘Single Ladies’, but I have decided to leave the show. I have to be back in L.A. with my children right now and the ‘Single Ladies’ shooting location makes that impossible. I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show and in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in season one.”
