Murder/Suicide Occurs After Trey Songz Concert

This morning the Internet was on buzz over the Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, Jovan Belcher. Not because of his athletic ability, but because of a tragic event that took place early this morning. Kasandra Perkins was killed by boyfriend Belcher, shortly after coming home from a Trey Songz concert. Belcher then, reportedly, drove to Arrowhead Stadium and committed suicide in front of his coach and general manager. Belcher was 25 and Perkins was 22. According to Perkins friend, the couple had been dating for about three years but she never saw any type of physical abuse even though they argued frequently. Perkins was out late after attending the concert and the couple allegedly argued about this. Trey Songz took to Twitter to comment on the event stating:

LeBron Thanks Fans For NBA Championship Win!

Following his 2012 NBA Finals Championship win with the Miami Heat, Lebron James posted this video on his official website where he thanks fans for their support.

Despite the backlash and hate Lebron has received in the last couple years, you can’t deny, he’s earned this win!

Congrats To The Miami Heat, Winning The 2012 NBA Finals Championship!

Lebron James has finally earned the ring he’s longed for. And although he, along with team mates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have faced much criticism these last two years, they finally did it! They won the 2012 NBA Finals Championship!

The team beat out OKC, winning games 2 through 5 after Oklahoma’s win during Game 1.

After the win James stated, “It means everything. I made a difficult decision to leave Cleveland. But understood what my future was about. And understood that coming to Miami and we had a bright future. This is a dream come true for me. I’ve been through a lot in the past 2 years.”

The NBA Lockout Is Officially Over!

Good news basketball fans! Representatives for the owners and players of the National Basketball Players Association were able to reach, what they call, a “tentative” agreement early Saturday to end the 149-day old lockout. At risk of losing the entire season and lots of money, an agreement was reached to kick off the season on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

The negotiation went on for a painstaking 15-hours before league representatives and players came together in a joint news conference around 3:30am to make the big announcement.

Usain Bolt Sets Another World Record!

The fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt,22 has broken a world record yet again.

The Jamaican track star, who won a gold medal during his 100 meter dash in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, ran a record time of 9.58 seconds. Sunday night during the World Championships, Bolt was able to break his own record running his all time best of 9.58 seconds.

Usain Bolt is undisputable the fastest man in the world. Now the question remains,, will he be able to break the 100 meter record yet again?
