Soulja Boy & Diamond Are Back Together!

For most of 2011 and 2012 Soulja Boy and Diamond flaunted their relationship all over social media. They were even hand-in-hand at several music award shows and red carpet arrivals. After a brief break up back in 2012 the two seem to be back together.

The two’s romance was even a hot topic of conversation when rapper Lil’ Scrappy revealed Diamond actually left him for Soulja Boy. The two men also had it out during a Twitter rant and war of the words.

Unfortunately, following their year long relationship filled with bliss, Soulja Boy and Diamond broke up. Although we’re not sure what ended their romance, rumors emerged of a possible split when Soulja Boy began posting raunchy photos of himself and scantily dressed women on Instagram. We also saw less and less of the pair.

Now, it seems, all is well and their love for each other has been restored.

The two unveiled some cutsey photos dedicated to each other, just this morning, on Instagram of course.

Soulja Boy Released From Jail Following Drug & Weapons Charges

Yesterday Soulja Boy was arrested in Georgia after the vehicle he was traveling in was stopped on a traffic violation. When officers did a routine search in the vehicle they found lots of marijuana, 46,000 in cash, and a gun.

The 21 yr old “Crank Dat” rapper, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, was then taken to Carrol County Jail and booked along with four passengers traveling with him at the time.

Just this morning, the rapper and his entourage faced the judge on his drug possession and weapons charges. Although, no confirmation has been made. It’s belief the weapon found in his SUV had been licensed.

Soulja Boy has since been released on a 10k bond. Further investigation is on the way.

Unfortunately, he also missed his big movie premiere for his straight to DVD  film ‘Soulja Boy: The Movie’.

Soulja Boy Gets Tupac’s Role In ‘Juice’ Remake

In a recent interview with Vibe magazine Soulja Boy reveals he will take on the late Tupac Shakur’s role in a ‘Juice’ remake. I am a little reluctant to see this movie be remade. Tupac and Omar Epps did a great enough job in their roles to have this movie be left alone. Nonetheless, it’s looking very likely that the movie will be remade (and not everyone is happy about it, especially the fans.)

Here’ s what the young rapper had to say,

Basically, it’s your boy Soulja and I’m Bishop in 2011, running around in the streets, man. You know how the movie goes, but we’re flipping it and shooting in Atlanta. I want to show these people my acting side and me being creative—always giving them something new; that’s all. I got same video director that shot “Crank That,” “Kiss Me Through The Phone,” “Turn My Swag On” —my most successful videos. The whole mixtape is the soundtrack for the movie.

Sounds like a great way to promote his mixtape to me. Not a bad idea. From my recollection his last album didn’t do so well.

What are your thoughts, should the movie be remade or left alone? I mean, why ruin a good thing right?
