Kourtney and Kim Kardashian are back trying to take over the big apple and, this time, Kim’s got her husband in toe. From this clip, it seems, Mr. Humphries may be fitting in with the Kardashian clan just fine. Check out the sneak peek below.
So Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan are over. Well, that’s according to an official statement released by the NBA player just hours ago.
“I’d like to address the rumors surrounding mine and Gloria’s relationship. We have reached the difficult decision of ending our relationship and will be going our separate ways at this time. We will work together to raise our sons and wish each other only the best.”
The ‘Basketball Wives LA’ reality TV star followed up with a twitter message of her own stating,
I’m sure you guys are hearing a ton of buzz about Matt and Me breaking up, sorry to say… its true!!! But the most important thing is focusing on my kids and continuing to have a good relationship with their father, thanks for your support!!!
Perhaps, there were signs of trouble in the relationship, the couple once referred to as “perfect”, when their nuptials were called off indefinitely last year. A police report even suggested the couple were involved in a heated domestic dispute which resulted in Matt’s arrest. No charges were filed.
If you missed it, here’s the new trailer of VH1′s ‘Love & Hip Hop’ season 2. While returning cast member Chrissy struggles to get along with boyfriend and rapper Jim Jones‘ mother and taking their relationship to the next level, Emily has finally left rapper Fabolous and is branching out on her own to find true happiness. Olivia is still struggle to re-establish her music career, and Somaya Reece still struggles to establish hers all the while battling with manager Maurice.
New comers Kimbella, linked to Julez Santana, dropped a bombed when she reveals she once dated Fab and Jones’ manager Yandy Smith faces being fired when issues with Chrissy arise.
According to the LA Times, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth — better known in reality TV simply as Omarosa — has issued a statement on the shooting death of her brother, Jack Manigault.
Jack Manigault, 40, was caught up in a lovers’ quarrel, Ohio police said, and was killed when his girlfriend’s ex shot him Sunday in the bedroom where Manigault and the woman were sleeping.
“Manigault was home with his 34-year-old girlfriend when the woman’s former boyfriend, 22-year-old Marco Cardenas, forced his way into the house past two juveniles and entered a bedroom where Manigault and the woman were sleeping,” the Youngstown Vindicator said, citing police reports. “Several shots were fired, and Manigault ran from the room and collapsed with a gunshot wound to the head.”
In a statement on Monday Omarosa says,
“We thank everyone for their amazing outpouring of support surrounding the tragic death of my brother Jack. Right now it is an extremely difficult time and we ask that you allow family privacy to grieve and make all necessary arrangements.”
Yesterday I reported Basketball Wives cast member Royce Reedwould not be returning to the hit reality show after she released the following tweet. However, VH1 is saying otherwise. VH1′s senior publicist, Nyle Washington says it’s “All rumors! We are gearing up to shoot our fourth season of Basketball Wives and so far all the women from the previous season have signed on.”
Could this all just be a publicity stunt? Royce is certainly not one to shy away from attention. She has a long history of releasing her own press release via twitter.
Only time will tell I suppose. Sure would love to see Royce back though.
Royce Reed took to twitter this morning to address her fate on next season’s Basketball Wives. She writes,
She went on to thank her fans for all their support and again tweeted, “Some things have Nothing to do with money but All to do with images/careers! Never sell your soul! Respect is hard 2 come by! ”
I’ll be the first to admit that I liked Royce. She brought a rawness and edge to the show while Jennifer and Eve bask in their “celebrity” glory and Tammy is just, how shall I say this, HOOD! And Suzy talks too much. Although at times, naive, Royce always was herself, honest and kept it real. She will certainly be missed :-(.
‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ star Kim Zolciak is on her way to becoming an official housewife. The 33 year old is now engaged to boyfriend of 18 months Kroy Biermann, 26. The couple, who welcomed a son together, Kroy Jagger, just this May, exclusively toldLife & Style all about their plans to wed.
Marriage was already on the brain during a photo shoot last year when she told the magazine, “I definitely don’t want to get married while I’m pregnant…but I can see myself marrying Kroy in the future.”
Kim has two daughters, Brielle and Ariana, from a previous marriage.
The ever conservative, Nancy Grace, suffered an embarrassing ordeal last night, during ABC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’. The harsh television legal consultant suffered a nip slip during her “quick step”.
Host Tom Bergeron made an effort to rush to Graces’ aid even joking, “On the European version that would be perfectly fine.”
In critiquing her performance, Judge Bruno Tonioli also chimed in by saying, “It was a bit top heavy at times, my darling. And I got an eyeful!”
After the show Grace and her partner Tristan MacManus were all smiles. MacManus told reporters hadn’t noticed, “I missed it anyway. And usually, I spot them but I missed them.”
Grace added, “I looked down, I didn’t see anything. I did not see a wardrobe malfunction. … Hey, maybe that’s why we got an eight!”
The professional basketball player only garnered 14 points out of a possible 30 from judges with a not so smooth cha-cha. The athlete along with partner Peta Murgatroyd received the lowest overall score by the judges of voters around the country.
Surprisingly Chaz Bono, was saved! Perhaps, all the controversy surrounding the transgendered man garnered supporters. Will be interesting to see just how far Chaz goes.
Nancy Grace and Rob Kardashian rounded out the bottom three.
Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. is now the winner of ‘Americas Got Talent’, season 6. The Sianatra-esque singer is a car washer no more! Eugene Murphy, has won $1 million and a stint headlining a show in Las Vegas.
“Thank you so much for just believing in me,” he said upon hearing his name announced at the end of the NBC summer talent competition.
“It’s been a long, hard journey,” he went on, barely holding back tears as the audience roared, “ever since I was a kid. And it’s finally paying off.”
During a recent interview with Essence.com, Laura Govan of ‘Basketballl Wives: LA’ sat down to discuss the current state of her relationship with NBA player Gilbert Arenas, joining the cast of Basketball Wives and the criticism towards the show’s reputation. And, despite what we’ve all read and seen on television about Laura she actually comes of as, shall I say, very likeable.
Here’s what she had to say,
ESSENCE.com: We don’t know much about you except what we read on blogs and see on the show. Who is Laura Govan? LAURA GOVAN: One thing is that I’m a dedicated mom of four. I’ve played basketball all my life. I coached on a college level and I attempted to play overseas, but I was injured. It was time for basketball to end for me. I worked for the Golden State Warriors, which is where I met Gilbert [Arenas], my fiancé. Then I got my masters in Sports Psychology. I was in a masters PhD program but I started having children so I stopped. I’ve had four kids in five years. My youngest is three months old.
ESSENCE.com: You refer to Gilbert as your fiancé. You two are back together? GOVAN: Yes, we are, and we plan to get married soon. When and where, I don’t know yet. I feel like we’re already married though, ten years, four kids later. People say he’s a mess, and I’m a mess. You know what, we’re each other’s messes. Everybody has breakup and make-up moments. It just so happens that ours is out in the public. You learn to grow. At this point in our lives Gilbert and I have been there, done that; the drama, the chaos. We’re older now, and we’re more mature. Now we’re better parents, and we’re taking the steps to make things better. Regardless of our past, we want our kids to see a good future.
