After a deadly crash, on the New Jersey Turnpike last month, that left him gravely injured and one dead, Tracy Morgan is suing Walmart as the responsible party for the wreckage.
Walmart truck driver, Kevin Roper, who rear-ended Morgan’s limo the morning of June 7th is said to have been sleep deprived when the accident occurred.
As per Morgan’s lawsuit, “The defendants’ negligence was a substantial contributing factor in causing plaintiffs’ injuries.”
Congratulations to actor Lance Gross. Gross and his stylist girlfriend, Rebecca Jefferson, are reportedly engaged. In fact, the couple is said to also be expecting their first child together.

For the past few weeks, there’s been much speculation om whether basketball player LeBron James would return to his hometown and team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, after a bitter departure to the Miami Heat four years ago and the team’s defeat in the 2014 Championship to the San Antonio Spurs.
Although no one was quite sure whether James would remain with the Heat or go back to Ohio, James made the official announcement today.
“Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio. It’s where I walked. It’s where I ran. It’s where I cried. It’s where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart,” he writes.
“People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I’m their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me. I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can. My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn’t realize that four years ago. I do now,” he continues.
If you didn’t already know, former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ finalist turn actress, Yaya Dacosta, has been pick to play the late and legendary singer, Whitney Houston, in upcoming Lifetime biopic.
In a glimpse of Dacosta’s transformation as Houston, she re-creates the singer’s 1987 album cover (above).
Of posing for the image Dacosta notes that her modeling background became useful. “I just looked at the picture and did the pose!” she says.

They’re pregnant! Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling that is. The very private couple are expecting their first child
A source for Mendes, 40, and Gosling tells Access Hollywood that the couple are indeed expecting a child together.
According to OK! Magazine, Eva is already seven months along and is excited about becoming a mom for the first time.
The honeymoon is over….again! Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon are headed for divorce for a second time.
After remarrying in January, Anderson has decided to end the marriage once more.
Ironically, Salomon won $2.8 million in the World Series of Poker Big One last Tuesday. By Thursday, Anderson filed paperwork to end their union. And, get this, under California law Pam Anderson will be entitled to half the winnings, unless a prenup was set in place of course.
Keyshia Cole is back with new single, “She”. Upon sharing the cover art for the new single, Cole shared this message with fans, “Thank you to my fans and program directors across the country for making #SHE Top 3 most added at urban radio today.”
“POINT OF NO RETURN TOUR, coming to a city near you. LP 6 coming soon. ‘SHE’ available on iTunes now…,” she again added.
Although the state of KC’s personal life and marriage to Daniel Gibson isn’t at its best, we’re happy to see she hasn’t slowed down and will be releasing another album this year. Congrats Keyshia!

On Tuesday we were all shocked to learn that Apollo Nida, husband to ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star Phaedra Parks, received an 8 year sentence for bank and identity fraud.
We also know that the couple’s fellow ‘RHOA’ co-star, Kenya Moore, has had a contentious relationship with the duo. Moore has been accused of attempting to have an inappropriate with Nida following the demise of her friendship with Parks. Surprisingly, however, Moore had nothing but kind words to say when she learned of Apollo’s sentencing.
Apollo Nida, husband to ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Phaedra Parks, has just gotten eight years for his involvement in bank and identity fraud.
The irony here is that eight years is actually a pretty good sentence considering Nida was facing up to 30 years in a federal prison.
Back in January, we reported that Apollo had beenarrested and facing conviction for bank and identity fraud. _______READMORE
