Winfrey shared the above photo on social media adding, “2 of the nicest, smartest and tallest (7ft) guys I’ve ever met @jasoncollins34 and his twin Jarron. #nextchapter this Sunday 7:30pm”
The interview should be interesting considering Collins does have a twin, Jarron Collins (photoed far left), who we’re sure has since been asked if he’s gay as well. We’re also curious to find out, although he has many supporters, just how has Collins handled the backlash since coming out. In fact, his ex-fiancee Carolyn Moos has gone on to discuss not knowing Collins had been gay prior to his announcement last week. She now believes he wasted eight years of her life while they had been together. It’s also reported the athlete has since faced death threats.
If you missed it, over the weekend Chelsea Handler sat down with Oprah for some girl talk on ‘Next Chapter’.
During Handlers interview with Lady O she opens up about her brief relationship with rapper 50 Cent. Although Handler insists she thinks he was a “sweetheart” his juvenile antics lead to their breakup.
Back in 2009 prior to breaking up, 50 called Handler to warn her of his ex (Ciara.) who would be Handler’s show, “Chelsea Latley” the very next day.
On sharing her miscarriage with the world
There’s so many couples that go through that and it’s one of the hardest things I’ve been through. It’s one of the reasons I didn’t tell people I was pregnant the second time around. You just don’t know.
On Jay-Z as a dad
Incredible. He’s a different human being. And it’s really beautiful to see a young man, such a great father. I’m so lucky.
Beyonce will sit down with Oprah to reveal a lot more about who she is behind the cameras. It seems, Bey’s been revealing a lot lately, doesn’t it? On Saturday’s episode of ‘Next Chapter’ the new mom will talk about her daughter Blue Ivy, her previous miscarriage and being married to Hip Hop mogul Jay Z. The singer will also discuss, for the first time, the current state of her relationship with her father. She announced he would no longer manage her career back in 2011. She recently revealed firing her father has ‘tarnished her soul’ in herfeature story with Vogue magazine.
And the ladies seemed to have fun while catching up. “Did we have fun or what? #nextchapter sat 8pm,” tweeted Oprah along with the above photo. The episode airs Saturday at 8pm on OWN.
In more Beyonce news, the singer’s documentary “Life Is But A Dream” will also air this Saturday on HBO. In honor of the film debut she would like for all of you to share her dreams with her. _______READMORE
Where was Oprah? All weekend we watched as President Obama, the First Lady and celebs prepared for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration and Ball. But someone was clearly out of site. And that’s Lady O.
Back in 2009, Oprah was one of Obama’s biggest supporters. She even invited the then governor on her daytime talk show, and single-handedly, introduced him to millions of Americans. She was even given credit for helping him win the election when she donated millions to his 2008-2009 campaign. However, this time around Oprah has been surprisingly quiet. So we’re curious. Could something be wrong between the Obamas and the talk show queen? We certainly hope not!
Oprah was not only visibly absent from all the Inaugural fuss this week she also seemed less enthusiast during Obama’s 2012 re-election. In fact, we can’t remember her being on the campaign trail. Can you? Unless, she was a silent sponsor of course.
It looks like our previous reports are true, Lance Armstrong will finally admit to using enhancement drugs while competing as a professional cyclist. It was partially one of the reasons he had been stripped of seven Tour de France titles.
On his sit down interview with Oprah the talk show maven says, “[it's] the biggest interview I’ve ever done. I would say he didn’t come clean in the manner I expected.”
Oprah will get the chance to sit down with award-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson for an intimate interview at her Chicago family home. Check out a bit of what we can expect in their upcoming interview.
Jennifer’s interview will air Sunday, September 9, at 9/8c.
Rihanna sit down with Oprah during ‘Next Chapter’ was refreshing. She was honest, she allowed herself to be vulnerable and she made a real connection. Here are some of the highlights of that interview.
Rihanna reveals she felt stifled at the beginning of her career because she didn’t know who she was 16 and 17. She says the marketing team at her label created a brand and she had to break out of that.
On what her late Gran Gran Dolly taught her, “To find a man who will love you more than you love him, because a woman will always give more….if they love you more they’ll meet you half way.”
She begins to tear up and says jokingly, “Trust Oprah to make you cry.” then erupts in her signature laugh (what a cute moment that was)
Oprah gives us a glimpse of what it was like meeting and interviewing Rihanna for the first time. She took the trip to Barbadoes to meet what she expected was this bad ass superstar rocker but came away meeting the real and very down to earth Rihanna or Robyn, the name her folks back home call her. The teaser looks good and interesting guys. Check it out.
