On last night’s episode of ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’, Lawrence Washington, best known as Sheree Whitfield’s flamboyant hairstylist, revealed his hidden talent. Mr. Washington can sing!
Lawrence sought help from singer/songwriter and fellow housewife Kandi Burruss for the right song for his musical debut. The finished project? “Closet Freak”.
Although this may be news to us, Lawrence actually performed the song at an Atlanta club in front of a small crowd consisting of family and friends.
He did pretty good. Werk it Lawrence!

An official first single has been release for Ciara’s up coming third studio album Fantasy Ride. The single is titled “Go Girl” featuring none other than the certify hit maker T-pain. The album, which was originally set for a fall release has been pushed back for an early 2009 release. Hopefully with this single and the right promotion Ciara can reach to the top of the charts. However, with slow album sales and cut budgets many Record labels have slowed promotion on their artists, pushing albums back until they have proven to have profitable markets with high demand. We’ll have to see how this one plays out. Not another push back I hope. Enjoy…

Earlier this week it was reported that various artists would sing an anthem dedicated to cancer research and finding a cure. Well, here it is! The single is titled Just Stand Up (to cancer)
The song features Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood. The procedes will be donated to the Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) charity and research organization.
The single was produced by both Kenneth “babyface” Edmonds and Antonio “L.A.” Reid. The first project for the former friends and business partners in two decades. It’s good to see that they were able to put whatever differences they had a side to do something positive.
