Jennifer Hudson Named As New ‘American Idol’ Judge!

Jennifer Hudson is officially and ‘American Idol’ judge! The singer has just signed on for season 13 to sit among the judging panel.

Although Hudson did not win during season 3 when she was a contestant, she has gone on to have a successful Grammy and Academy award winning career.

And now, after Randy Jackson announced his departure, we now know that current judges, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Keith Urban, will not be returning.

Former Idol contestants including Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert and/or Clay Aiken are also rumored to join Hudson as judges for the show’s upcoming season.

Although Dawm went on to join Diddy and Kaleena in the ‘Dirty Money’ trio before starting a solo career, Aubry O’Day has continued to attain some success on the real television circuit, but we haven’t heard much from the other ladies.
