For the past two years Monica has been rumored to be pregnant since marrying her basketball player husband Shannon Brown back in 2011. Although she’s dismissed much of those rumors, we can finally confirm the singer is 5 months pregnant!
The couple are overly ecstatic to be expecting their first child together.
Over the weekend, Monica was on hand to sing for the Annual Jazz In The Garden concert held in Miami, FL. The singer posted several photos online and we couldn’t help but notice how beautiful she looked. In this first photo we’re so loving her makeup.

Mo even shared a photo collage of her outfit while performing.
We hope this isn’t true but… NBA “player” Shannon Brown may be creeping on wife and singer Monica.

After watching her basketball player husband, Shannon Brown (Pheonix Suns), drop 26 points in his game against The Charlotte Bobcats Wednesday night, Monica decided to allow her Twitter followers to ask her a few questions in a Twitterview using the hashtag #AskMo.
She tweeted, “While Baby watches film lets have an #AskMo Session… U ask I answer. People think they know but have no idea. Get it from my mouth LOL❤”

There were rumors, years ago, that they had some kind of falling out back around the time “The Boy Is Mine” was released but this was a shock! Brandy and Monica have reunited for another collaboration “It All Belongs To Me”, and Monday we all had the pleasure of seeing the premiere of the official music video on VH1. Like the ladies explained it, they’ve grown up since the “Boy Is Mine” bringing us a more grown and sexy tune. instead of fighting over a lover this time the ladies explains walking away from an unhappy situation taking back all that gifts he’s been given.
Brandy and Monica have recorded a new duet, “It All Belongs To Me”. For all of us who remember singing “The Boy Is Mine” into a hair brush and performing with our best friend this is long overdue.
The track, produced by Rico Love, takes the two singers in an entirely different direction than their first recording. Brandy and Monica are not competing on this track.
Brandy opens the song with her deep soulful vocals and a maturity in her voice that wasn’t heard when the two first stepped in the studio years ago. Monica leads us through the second verse and brings her usual power. Although the track is not as lyrically deep as we’ve heard from both Monica and Brandy in the past, it does highlight their superb vocal abilities with a tune that gets stuck in your head. The model turned singer may be serious about her music career after all. After the release of first single, “Fame”, Amber may be enlisting some “A list” artists to get her to the next level. After all, she’s already received a helping hand from rapper boyfriend, Wiz Khalifa, whose featured on the record.
If they are in fact working together, can’t wait to hear what this collaboration will sound like.

For weeks blogs have speculated that Monica may be expecting her third child and first with husband Shannon Brown.
The singer may have spilled the beans while on twitter earlier today. In response to a tweet she wrote,
“Glowing” are we, I wonder why the glow? Immediately many twitter followers, including myself, assumed she was hinting that she is in fact expecting.
In recent weeks, photos of the singer have surfaced where she’s been spotted wearing over sized blouses and have even positioned her children or even a hang bag where a visible baby bump would lye.
In honor of her 31st birthday yesterday, Monica released her official video for single “Until It’s Gone” on BET’s ’106 & Park’. Check it out.
* Just a tid bit*: Monica is believed to be pregnant with her and husband, Shannon Brown’s, first child. In recent photos the singer is typically covered up, especially in her mid section but have yet to confirm the rumors.
She has two sons with Atlanta rapper Rocko and Shannon has a son of his own from a previous relationship. We’ll keep you all posted.
