Singer Mary J. Blige has been facing some major legal troubles recently. Not only is she under investigation for tax evasion, she’s now being sued for cancelling a concert in Dallas, TX last December.
Vision Entertainment Worldwide, a promotional company, filed a lawsuit claiming the singer skipped out on her December 9th show in Dallas just days before she was schedule to perform.
Glamour magazine threw their annual ‘Glamour Women of the Year’ event at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Monday night. Celebrities in attendance included Selena Gomez, Solange Knowles, Mary J. Blige, Tyra Banks, Gabby Douglas, Pharell Williams and more.
Selena Gomez made her first red carpet appearance since her break up with Justin Bieber. She looks just fine to me.

Mary J. Blige debuted new single “Be Happy” off sophomore album, ‘My Life’ in 1994. The song was co-written by Mary and her then musically adviser and executive producer Sean “Diddy” Combs. It reached number 29 on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Blige’s third single to reach the top forty of that chart and reached number six on the R&B singles chart, becoming her fifth top-ten single at the time. She went on to surpass her previous successes but most importantly, her ‘My Life’ album was an eye-opener. It declared Mary’s arrival and that she would become a permanent and influential fixture in R&B music.

Mary J. Blige has spoken out for the first time about the controversial Burger King crispy chicken commercial heard around the world. The singer tells TMZ, “I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that’s not what was happening in that clip.”
Mary also says, “I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out.”

Grammy award winning singer, Mary J. Blige visited ‘The Wendy Show’, Thursday, to discuss reports her marriage, of 8 yrs to manager Kendu Isaccs, is on the rocks, staying sober and whether she’d like to become a mother.

To my pleasant surprise, Mary J Blige opened the BET Award Show giving us that old school vibe, performing a medley including “Real Love” and even performed with idol and legend Ms. Anita Baker. She also including a very first performance of new single “It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over” featuring Jadakiss and Fabolous.
Mary J. Blige’s lead single for new album, My Life II: The Journey Continues, will be a calloration with hip pop rapper Nicki Minaj. the single is titled “Feel Inside”.
But I’m more interested in whether this collaboration can fuse another beef with Lil’ Kim. Isn’t she and Mary BFF’s?

As a featured artist on R. Kelly’s ‘Love Letter’ tour, Keyshia Cole attempted to sing Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Going Down” live at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles Saturday night. Too bad it didn’t go over well.
Since the very beginning of her career Cole has always been compared to Blige, but whether you agree or not Cole and Blige’s fans can pretty much agree that Cole did not do this song justice.
