Just days after revealing the latest GQ magazine cover featuring Beyonce the magazine have just announced her as their pick for woman of the century!
Bey is definitely looking to take over 2013! Looking incredible in her GQ spread she dishes on her upcoming Super Bowl performance and success. Check out what she had to say.
Beyoncé on her work ethic: “I worked so hard during my childhood to meet this goal: By the time I was 30 years old, I could do what I want. I’ve reached that. I feel very fortunate to be in that position. But I’ve sacrificed a lot of things, and I’ve worked harder than probably anyone I know, at least in the music industry. So I just have to remind myself that I deserve it.”
Katy Perry has been chosen as the ‘Sexiest Woman of 2013’ for Men’s Health magazine and the year’s just started! But are we surprised, absolutely not! The Grammy award winning singer not only has talent she’s beautiful! Just ask her current beau and boyfriend John Mayer.
According to MH, “She took a bad breakup and turned it into the raw material of the year’s most successful album, Teenage Dream. Based largely on its success, she’s the only singer ever to spend more than a solid year in the top 10 of the Billboard charts. Hell, her Twitter following alone is four times the population of New York City. At only 28, she’s already been nominated for eight Grammy awards—including album of the year. Nobody, including us, could get enough of Perry this year. And for that reason, she is our sexiest woman of 2013.”
We can’t wait to see just what Ms. Perry has in store for the rest of the year. Congrats Katy!

Rihanna has total world domination would you say? Billboard magazine seems to think so and I don’t disagree. It seems the singer can’t do no wrong. Check out Billboard’s latest magazine cover featuring Ri Ri for their November/December issue.
Rihanna is totally killing this cover. She’s currently in the midst of her 777 Tour (7 cities, 7 countries, 7 days) where she enlisted a group of reporters/media outlets and fans to join her on her private jet as she conquers the world. Sounds fun, right?!
Her seventh album, ‘Unapologetic’, will be released this Tuesday, November 19th.
And here’s the lovely Ms. Keyshia Cole.
The singer sits down Rolling Out and dishes on why she’s named her album ‘Woman To Woman’, the disappointment of her last album, meeting and falling in love with her husband Daniel Gibson, and her respect for Beyonce and Jay Z‘s relationship and what she wants her legacy to be. Great interview.
We got our first glimpse of Rihanna‘s nude GQ “Men of the Year”nude cover yesterday, now we’re getting a bit of her one-on-one interview with the magazine. She discusses being seen as just a dolloar sign, becoming a sex symbol, Chris Brown and Drake fighting for her love and the kind of woman she is in a relationship. Take a sneak peek of what she had to say.
“Sometimes a person looks at me and sees dollars. They see numbers and they see a product. I look at me and see art. If I didn’t like what I was doing, then I would say I was committing slavery. ”
On Nearly Getting A Face Tattoo The Night Before Her GQ Interview:
“The tattoo artist said nope, I’m not gonna do it,” she says, “because if you’re looking at your face, it’s right there staring at you.”
CoverGirl has chosen a new face for their cosmetic line and it is Janelle Monae. The eclectic artist debuted her 10 page ad spread for CoverGirl in the September issue of Vogue magazine. Chris Brown hasn’t done much interviews in the last year but he did give Prestige magazine an insight to his “Fame & Fortune’ during a recent interview and photo shoot.
What do you want the world to know about who you are and what you stand for?
As a 23-year-old young entertainer, I want the world to see my art and hopefully be inspired by it, promote positivity with what I do now – with painting, with fashion, with directing, with creativity as far as videos and cinema. I want to have people admire that and hopefully have people follow in my footsteps.
What are you having the most fun at right now?
Honestly, my day-to-day life is the most fun right now because I get a chance to not focus on “the artist” Chris Brown. Going through the regular things, like going to the grocery store. I’m also running a label right now, so I have different artists, four or five different acts, shooting videos that I’m directing and coming together.
Andre Leon Talley spills the beans about his life to Vogue magazine for their 120th anniversary special edition. The former Paris fashion editor has always had a love for fashion, which he lovingly attributes to his grandmother, Bennie Frances Davis. _______READMORE
Victoria Beckham shows a more down to earth side of her personality in the upcoming issue of Glamour magazine. The usually serious pop star turned fashion designer dishes on just why she doesn’t like smiling in photos, reading the latest phenomenon “Fifty Shades of Grey”. She even revealed she also bought her mom the book but gets quite uncomfortable when she tries to have sex talk. Check her more of what the former “Posh Spice” had to say.
Victoria Beckham on guest editing the September issue…
“It’s been exciting for me to see my ideas come to life, from type colors to photo selection to casting. I even made my own list of Glamour fashion Don’ts to keep out of the issue: boat shoes (unless of course you’re designer Alber Elbaz or on a boat!), Bermuda shorts, nose rings, Crocs, and American tan tights (that’s nude pantyhose to you).”
Victoria Beckham on why she is never seen smiling…
“Do you know, I don’t know?! I actually used to smile a lot in pictures. I think I only stopped smiling when I got into fashion. [Laughs.] Fashion stole my smile! I’ve created this person. And I’m not saying that’s not me, but I wouldn’t say that’s the whole me…. It’s an armor that goes up.”
The beautiful Rihanna covers the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar. As always her interviews reveal a more sensitive and real side of who she is. This time she opens up a bit more on falling in love, losing it all and what makes her so rebellious. She also speaks on the controversial collaboration with ex Chris Brown, and being thin. Here’s what RiRi had to say.
On Being Rebellious
“I’m rebellious through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair. I have been conservative in my love life… it’s pretty much nonexistent. If I come across someone who I find really cool, I’ll hang out. But the minute I find that we’re getting too close I just—I don’t let people in.”
Tamar Braxton shines on the July issue and cover of PYNK magazine. The singer turn reality star dishes on her marriage, her desire to start a family, what she does to keep things spicy with her husband and music executive Vincent Herbert, and her friendship with Mary J. Blige . Here’s some of what she had to say.
On when she first realized Vince was the one…
“I wasn’t checking for Vince at first. He and I were friends. But it wasn’t until I found out that he was seeing someone that it hit me. I realized I had feelings for him! When he told me that his relationship at the time was coming to an end, I knew it was my time to make my feelings known. After that relationship ended.. he and I started dating and eventually married.”
Kristen Stewart looks stunning on the cover of the July issue of Vanity Fair magazine. The unlikely “fashion icon”, as the magazine puts it, is quite revealing in the issue even admitting to smoking pot. She also dishes on how her style has evolved since becoming an A-list actress and not fitting in to the norms of what a star should be. Check out what Kristen had to say.
On Her Style Kristen Says
“I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph. I get some serious shit about it. I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like shit in half my photos, and I don’t give a fuck. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, ‘She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.’ I don’t care about the voracious, starving shit eaters who want to turn truth into shit. Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!”
Rihanna doesn’t mind sexing it up, even more than she usually does, in the latest issue of Esquire UK. The singer wears a mesh black bikini top and bottom and even goes topless for the magazine shoot.
