Oh my! Hmmm…..well there you have it!
Beyonce‘s ’4′ album still reigns as the #1 album for its second consecutive week. Although the album received mediocre reviews and ave her her lowest first week album sales, queen Bey ain’t worried bout ya’ll! She’s just fine, thank you very much! The album raked in another 111,464 in sales, that’s better than most artists’ can sell in their first week. The legend in the making proves her empire is secure and even with little promotion statewide she is one of the best female artists of our time. Congrats.
As for Lloyd….hmmm…his charm, good looks and smooth R&B couldn’t help his album sales.
Lloyd is back with his latest project ‘King of Hearts’, released this past Tuesday, July 5th, and I think it’s worth giving a shot. The album is R&B at its best, probably his best work yet, fused with sex, sex and more sex and we love it! He’s certainly grown up. Former Murder Inc. artists Ashanti and Lloyd joined forces in New York City over the weekend to perform a few hits bringing out Ja Rule for “Always On Time” when the crowd goes wild.
You may not know him just yet, but Big Sean is certainly a rising star. This Kanye West protege has had many features but has finally dropped his own debut single “My Last” featuring R&B’s current bad boy Chris Brown.
The video reflects on the rapper’s dreams 5 years back on “making it” among music’s elite. This young man’s determination is a great example that dreams really do come true. Here’s “My Last”, enjoy.
Parting ways with record label, The Inc., 2 years ago haven’t slowed this R&B crooner down. Lloyd is back with his new single “Cupid”. The single is featured on the singer’s fourth, and highly anticipated, album ‘King of Hearts’ set for an April 19th release. The album’s executive producer, Polo Da Don, suggests this is some of his best work yet and we can’t wait to hear what this singer has been working on.

Singing sensations Lloyd has just released his first single “Lay It Down”, produced by Polow Da Don. The record will appear of Lloyd’s fourth studio album, King of Hearts. The album is set to drop in early 2011.

A month after label mate Ashanti parted ways with record label Exec. Irv Gotti, singing sensation Lloyd has decided to leave as well.
The 23 yr.old singer/songwriter says there is “no bad blood” between himself and Gotti but feels their relationship has run it course.
“I’m ready for a change,” says Lloyd. “There’s no bad blood. I just feel I need to take more control over my career and get a fresh start. Hopefully Irv can understand my position.”
