Lil’ Wayne Says He Can’t Control His Seizures & Feels Nothing Each Time!

Lil Wayne has just given us some insight on his ongoing battle with Epilepsy and random seizures.

During an interview with MTV host Sway, accompanied by mentor and “dad” Birdman, the rapper says he has no control over when he’s going to have a seizure.

In fact, he also reveals that he doesn’t know what it feels like to have a seizure because each time he completely blacks out.

“I don’t feel anything. I just hope it stops happening,” he stated.

“So everybody knows, I don’t know that it happens,” he adds. “I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital.”

In his first official interview post seizures and hospitalization in Cedar Sinai’s intensive care unit, Lil Wayne is coming clean on what really happened. He reveals, for the first time, he is epileptic and has suffered seizures for quite some time now.

During his interview with DJ Felli Fel of L.A.’s Power 106, Wayne says “I’m prone to seizures…This wasn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh…I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them.”

Earlier in the month, Wayne was reported as being on his death bed following two seizures in the same week.  Quickly family and friends dismissed the rumors to diffuse any talk of death. Wayne even tweeted a message to fans, once he’d been in a better state, to diminish any frenzy and reassure fans he was doing much better.

We’re convince Lil’ Wayne was high, again, when he released his first tweet since being discharged from a West Hollywood hospital over the weekend. The rapper, who had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars Sanai Medical Center, seemed to have forgotten his near death experience following two seizures earlier in the week. Here’s what he had to say,

Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, spent six days in the medical center, primarily in the intensive care unit.

As we reported on Friday Lil’ Wayne was rushed to the medical center after a bodyguard found him unconscious and shaking in his hotel room. The seizure, the second that week, is believed to be onset by a sizzurp binge. Following the announcement he was in bad shape and near death Wayne event sent out a tweet thanking fans for their support but that he was doing good. “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love,” he tweeted.

Lil_Wayne_Suffers_Seizure_Critical_ConditionEarlier we reported 30 year old rapper Lil Wayne was near death following a second seizure this week and was also listed in critical condition.

Although TMZ initially confirmed news the rapper was being prepared for his last rites, friend and fellow rapper Mack Maine denied the reports. The site also reported the seizure was brought on by a sizzurp binge just hours before. Mack Maine went on a Twitter rant disputing TMZ’s reports and said Wayne, himself, would send a message to confirm he was doing. Maine tweeted, “Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game…thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love“

In fact he stated Lil’ Wayne would be sending a message to his fans via Twitter. “We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe…that’s false!! #F**KTMZ,” he added.

An hour later Lil Wayne finally tweeted, “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.”

A brief message but straight to the point.
