Earlier today Kimora Lee Simmons was enjoying her day at a California nail salon when, as she was leaving, paparazzi cameras began flashing. After she realized she had been spotted, Simmons bolted to her car and made a fast exit out of there. Why? The typically glamorous beauty was makeup-less.
Kimora Lee Simmons is still showing off her bikini body in St. Barths. Over the weekend the former model and mommy of three was spotted looking red hot in a teeny bikini. She was spotted again yesterday in a two tone yellow and blue two piece bikini looking fabulous.
The rumors hit the net just days ago but now there’s confirmation, Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou have parted ways.
The couple have decided to split after 5 1/2 years together and has confirmed the news exclusively with People. A rep for the couples says, “Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons have officially separated after 5½ years. Though never married, they have one child together, Kenzo Lee Hounsou, who is 3½ years old.”

Former fashion model turned businesswoman Kimora Lee Simmons spoke with CNN recently about her efforts to aide the Japanese people through their difficult time. Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that took the lives of roughly ten thousand people three weeks ago, Simmons, whose own mother is Japanese, speaks on her own efforts and what we all can do to help.
On How The Earthquake Devastation Has Affected Her
I think that my heart absolutely goes out and I think that every, maybe me personally, I probably don’t do so well with national disaster issues like that. It’s very sad and I feel like its groups of people that are instantly gone. I feel like that’s very devastating. But also when I see this overall, I’m a person, I’m part of the human community. It’s not about being Asian American or the fact that my mom is Japanese. I feel that it’s more about the suffering of every body, people in general, everyday it’s something like this and you can look at earthquakes and other disasters and, I don’t know, it’s been very tough. And I feel like as a community of entertainers, designers and the fashion community a lot of people are coming together to do a lot of things in terms of sales and proceeds and raising a lot of money and I’ve donated and so many of my friends have as well. I think it’s just do what you can. Everybody at home can’t send over a million dollars but if you have it and you can, if you have twenty five cents they need it.
Over the weekend, Djimon and Kimora took her two girls Aoki and Ming to a Broadway Theatre to see “Shrek The Musical.” By the looks on their faces they were obviously excited to go.
The couple who recent welcomed their first child together Kenzo Lee Hounsou, didn’t bring along the new born and spent the day with the girls instead.
In a recent OK! Magazine spread Djimon and Kimora officially announced they were married in a private and small ceremony in Djimon’s homeland in Africa.
Once again Kimora took to her twitter homepage to announce the name of her and boyfriend Djimon Hounsou new born son.
Welcome Kenzo Lee Hounsou. Kimora’s + Djimon’s baby boy was born on Saturday May, 30th. He was 8 lbs and 20 inches.
Considering the weird names some celebs give their children, I find Kenzo to be a pretty decent name.

Kelis is said to be in her first trimester and already sporting a small bump. A source close to the couple even went as far as stating, “she’s carrying Hip-Hop royalty”. I’m loving that statement! Jill is already well into her second trimester and is currently filming for the HBO series The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, based on the popular novels by Alexander McCall Smith. The Why Did I Get Married star is expected to deliver April 24th.
Kimora Lee and Djimon Hounsou are now expecting their first child together according to a close friend. It was recently reported to Usmagazine.com. The former Mrs. Simmons has two daughters Ming Lee,8 and Oaki Lee,6 with Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons. Kimora didn’t exactly hide the fact that she wanted more children, when asked, she responded by saying “I would love to, I practice everyday.” Although they have yet to confirm, the two have been dating since early 2007.
