Here’s the first photo of Drew Sidora, Lil’ Mama and Keke Palmer portraying TLC band mates, T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli. We have to say, this is nearly spot on.
The ladies have been preparing for the past few months to bring ‘Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story’ movie biopic to life. The photo depicts the group’s 1992 single “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg” single cover featured on debut album, “Ooooooohhh… On the TLC Tip”
KeKe Palmer was just announced as the actress to land the role of Lozanda “Chilli” Thomas in the upcoming biopic of 90′s R&B group, TLC.
The news wasn’t taken so well by many TLC fans. In fact, they were even more disgruntle when it was announced troubled rapstress Lil’ Mama had landed the role of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes a week prior.
While we did not hear a response from Lil’ Mama, about the backlash, KeKe Palmer isn’t taking the criticism all too well. Frankly, she isn’t here for all you naysayers. Here’s what Ms. Palmer had to say.
“People kill me, I don’t remember Angela Bassett looking ANYTHING like Tina Turner. And she RIPPED that role,” Palmer tweeted.
“People need to realize hat movies aren’t casted by people looking like who they’re playing. They’re casted by who can do the role.”

I was very impressed with KeKe Palmer’s look at this year’s Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards. The 17 year old has matured so nicely. What I like about this look, especially, is that it is sexy but still sophisticated.

Award season is in full effect. This weekend showboated two of the most popular award shows, ‘Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards’ & ‘Academy of Country Music Awards’.
While the KCA were held at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (April 2) in Los Angeles the ACM was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 3) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
To me these shows are usually a snooze fest but I did pick a few of my best dressed ladies and a gentleman.
