While most of us were sending out congratulation messages for the arrival of baby Kimye, Taylor Swift was too busy seeking revenge for Kanye’s 2009 VMA mishap.
If you all remember, Kanye crashed the stage during Taylor’s acceptance speech for video of the year. Kanye declared, “Imma let you finish Taylor but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” referencing Bey’s “Single Ladies” visual.
Kanye West recently held his ‘Yeezus’ album release party and he had quite a bit to say about his forthcoming album release and it’s title.
At the release party Kanye began with, “We didn’t give a f*ck about what nobody said from the outside looking in. We just wanted to make the best product possible and this is just the beginning of an entire new mentality about how to make music.”
After a lengthy speech about working on the album with the assistant of Def Jam President Rick Rubin, Kanye then proclaims, “I wanna explain something about the title Yeezus. Simply put, West was my slave name and Yeezus is my god name.”
We’ve heard lots of stories but this is, by far, one of thee most interesting! An entrepreneur, Trent Silver, has started a crowd-funding campaign to get Kim Kardashianand Kanye West‘s unborn daughter a diamond encrusted high chair. After all, this baby will not be outdone by Jay Z and Beyonce‘s 1 year old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
But it’s all for a good cause guys. Silver is using the crowd funding project to raise money for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in support of their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to help care for critically-ill babies.
Trent says, “This high chair is going to cost $15,001 to design. I am crowd funding the gift on ClickStartMe, and will personally deliver the blinged out chair to the Kardashian home when the baby is born. And, I will also deliver a giant card, with the names of everyone who donates to this crowdfunding project.”
Yesterday, June 8th, marked the 36th birthday of Kanye West. In a private birthday celebration, the rapper was joined by friends Jay Z and Beyonce and fellow rapper and icon Nas. Several photos emerged of the private celebration on Jay Z’s believed instagram profile: Foundhov.
With his new album, ‘Yeezus’, due out on June eighteenth, Kanye West must really think he’s equivalent to Jesus when he tried to film his “New Slaves” visual on the George Bush monument in Houston.
It’s no secret Kanye doesn’t think much of the Bushes. He accused former president George W. Bush of not liking black people around the time of Hurricane Katrina and his delay in responding to the helpless people. In fact, when asked about the most difficult time in his presidency Bush also referenced West’s statements as being his most trying time, awkwardly enough.
According to the Houston Chronicles, “Whatever Kanye West wanted to happen Friday night in Houston — didn’t. The superstar rapper’s plan was to project a new song and visual on the Rothko Chapel, Central Library downtown and the George Bush Monument. He announced it earlier today via Twitter.
Houston police shut down the “Yeezus” revival at Rothko.”
Kanye Westis trying to be the best Kanye he can be. On his official Facebook Page the rapper promises his late mom he’ll do better from here on out.
“R.I.P MOM, I miss you so much. Having you in my life was just a blessing, you were there for me when nobody wasn’t.” writes Kanye. “You supported me all the way up onto my success and you were just………unbelievably great in my eyes and the eyes of many that knew you. My success seems to be going to a down fall because of the way media portrays me but I swear If I could choose then I would be the way I was when you were still in my life, I just can’t handle the fact that you’ve gone. Although you’re in a better place now, I’m going to strive to make you proud even when you’re not here with me. I want you to look down on me and say “I’m proud of you”. Starting from today I’m going to change my ways to make you happy. RIP MOM!”
Perhaps also becoming a father soon has encouraged the artist to make some changes. Do you believe Kanye will change for the better?
Kanye West tweeted earlier tonight about his debut of his new music. The boisterous rapper tweeted, “NEW SONG AND VISUAL FROM MY NEW ALBUM BEING PROJECTED TONIGHT ACROSS THE GLOBE ON 66 BUILDINGS, LOCATIONS @KANYEWEST.COM.” The new song, “New Slaves,” was projected on buildings all over the world tonight and this has to be one of the most creative ways I’ve seen to air a new video. The song talks about Kanye’s disdain for the media and basically his hatred for followers with his soon to be infamous line, “See there’s leaders and there’s followers…but I’d rather be a d*** than a swallower.” You have to admit. This is an amazing marketing tactic. Check out the video below and give us your opinion.
Kanye West is back at it! At one of the rappers recent concerts, he went on a rant about the pitfalls of being in the spotlight. In fact, Kanye declares, “I ain’t no motherf**king celebrity!” And we think he means it.
During his rant here’s much of what he had to say.
“I ain’t no motherf**king celebrity….One thing about me is I’m the worst kind of celebrity. Cause all I do is make real music. All I do is hit the studio and make real sh*t. And that’s it. And that’s motherf**king it. I don’t want nobody running up to me with no cameras. Kinda like sell pictures and sh*t to magazines. Asking me no dumb ass questions. Throwing me off of my focus and sh*t. Harassing me all motherf**king day. I ain’t no motherf**king celebrity….”
Is Kanye disrespectful to pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian? That’s exactly what recent reports would have you think.
According to celebrity gossip site, Hollywood Hiccups, “Inside sources close to the situation think that she will end up getting fed up with Kanye’s crap and will kick him to the curb soon. A snitch said, “The only way they have a future is if Kim continues to do whatever he says.”
In fact, the inside sources say Kanye treats Kim more like his assistant than girlfriend.
