Well that was fast. Da Brat is definitely #winning since her release from prison last month. With the success of Dupri and Brat’s collaboration on “Look At Me Now” they’re now releasing a video for the Chris Brown remix. The video also features footage from their recording session. Check it out.
Da Brat is back! She has just reminded us all why she is still one of the hottest female emcees in the game. Two and a half years behind bars didn’t change a thing.
Brat’s cousin and record exec, Jermaine Dupri, released the So So Def Mix at an Atlanta radio station today and its already taken on a life of its own. The fans love it!
Jermaine may not be well known as a great rapper but he did a good job nonetheless. I would love to see a Nicki and Brat collaboration.

After serving two 1/2 years behind bars for assaulting a cocktail waitress with a liquor bottle, Da Brat finally got her get out of jail free card! The rapper’s cousin and music producer Jermaine Dupri tweeted, “Happy day for me and all SO SO DEF fans, Da BRAT is finally home”.
Dupri & Brat caught up in the studio right after her release.
The rapper will remain on probation for the next 7 years.
Da Brat was apparently released from jail temporarily to shoot scenes for sister Lisa Raye’s upcoming new reality show. Producer and cousin JD also makes a cameo.
I didn’t even know you could be released from jail for the weekend! A weekend pass? What?! Lol
Da Brat was originally sentenced to 3 yrs back in 2007 for hitting a club waitress in the face with a bottle during a fight.
Over the Memorial Day weekend, Toni Braxton and sister Tamar as well as singer Tyrese hit up Vegas hot spot Bank Night Club in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino.
Tyrese and Toni were later spotted at another Vegas hot spot Body English, where rapper Nelly, Jermaine Dupri and actor Larenz Tate were partying as well.
Nelly was in the house to DJ.

Jermaine Dupri decided that for his girlfriend, Janet Jackson’s 43rd birthday (May 16th), he would tattoo a photo of the icon on his rib cage! WoW! That looks painful!
As caption for his own photo Dupri wrote on his blog:

Well, according to Life & Style magazine Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are expecting a bundle of joy. I’m not sure if we should believe this story but if she is, congrats and I know it’ll be a beautiful baby. About whether or not Janet had a love child with James Debarge and the forever pending tell all……..ummmm…. no comment, but we’ll be on the look out!
