It’s all about baby Blue! And her parents are over the moon. Despite earlier reports that Beyonce had had a c-section the couple would like you to know it was all natural.

In an official statement to the press, Jay Z and Beyonce says,

“Hello Hello Baby Blue! “We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.

“We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support. Beyonce & Jay-Z.”

How adorable. Their joy screams through this letter, so happy for them.

Jay Z also released a song dedicated to his daughter late yesterday afternoon, revealing that he and his wife had experienced a heart breaking miscarriage.

Happy they are able to put the tragedy pass them with the birth of baby Blue. Congrats!

Unless you live under a rock, you’ve already heard about the birth of Jay Z and Beyonce‘s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Initially the name was reported as Ivy Blue but was later corrected by multiple sources including the Carter’s close friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

After tweeting a quick congrats to the couple, Gwyneth was then asked if the daughter’s name was Ivy Blue or Blue Ivy. She wrote,

After news broke that the couple had welcomed their first child and her name was released, soon there after, many wondered and speculated what it meant and even why it was chosen. As you can imagine, the media, fans and foes had a field day. Some conspiracy theorist even chimed in drawing their own conclusions, of which, I do not agree with. But here’s a thought. It’s actually the most logical answer I’ve concluded.

Beyonce has finally given birth to a bouncing baby girl!

Rumors have been swirling for weeks but it seems this time is the real deal. The news was first reported by The NY Daily that the superstar and rapper husband Jay Z became proud parents of a daughter they’ve named Blue Ivy Carter. She was delivered at the Upper East side Lenox Hill Hospital via C-section.

It’s also been reported that the couple rented out the hospital’s entire fourth floor for approximatley $1.3 million. Athough the singer was admitted on Friday night, under the alias Ingrid Jackson, the baby was not delivered until Saturday, January 7th.

The singer was last spotted Thursday night while leaving a NY office building.

Reps for the extremely private couple have not confirmed the news, and probably will not, but tweets from pop star Rihanna and music mogul Russell  Simmons suggests the reports are, in fact, true.

Rihanna tweeted, “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”

As for Simmons, he added, “congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z.”

Very interesting name choice by the way. I, and I’m sure many of you are too, wonder why they chose that name?

Beyoncé Knowles says husband Jay-Z’s next job in life is to be an ‘inspirational father’.

The 30-year-old songstress is expecting her first child with rapper Jay-Z in February next year.

Both stars have forged hugely successful careers in the music industry.

Beyoncé is thrilled with the prospect of becoming a parent and says dynamic Jay-Z will be an excellent father.

‘Of course he will be!’ she exclaimed when asked if Jay-Z will make a good dad.
