When actor Jamie Foxx took his daughter, Corinne Bishop, to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, Sunday night, many wondered who was the beautiful young lady on his arm.
Yes, it’s his daughter!
Although he’s taken her to many of his red carpet events, this was, perhaps, the first time she had tongues wagging and women in admiration of her beauty. The now nineteen year old has grown into a stunning young woman.
No surprise here, celebrities flocked to this year’s GQ Men of the Year party, thrown at Chateau Marmont, in Los Angeles, Tuesday night. Musicians and actors including Cassie, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Big Sean, Jamie Foxx, Common, and Ne-Yo were all in attendance. Here are some of their red carpet looks.

“So I’m throwing this party and the way I got back, this kid walked in with a backpack on and his jaw was a little messed up. (Turns and asks the audience “Who am I talking about?”. Unbeknown to him it was Kanye West). So Kanye West comes to my crib and says I got this song for you called “Slow Jamz”. I say well I have a studio in the back but first I gotta hear you rap. He rapped and I said oh my God you’re the most incredible cat I ever heard. So we go in the back and he says, so the song go “she say she wants some Marvin Gaye some Luther Vandross…” so I said I got it [starts singing] and I’m doing all this R&B stuff and he’s like what the hell are you doing bro? And I said I’m tryna put the R&B sauce on it. He said don’t put sauce on it just sing it regular [he re-sings the song]. So after I sung it I said this song ain’t gonna make it. It don’t got no sauce on it, no sauce. And so I left and I did a bad movie [laughs]. I came back after my career was on life support and when I got back I went to Miami and they said you know that song you fronted on? It’s number 1 right now. So “Slow Jamz” went number 1 with Twista and then we went from that to…[starts singing "Gold Digger"]. So from that that’s how I got back into music.

Jamie Foxx, Keyshia Cole, and Keri Hilson were among the list of artists to release albums on Dec. 21st, and last week seemed a merriful week for album sales.
Jamie Foxx’s third album ‘Best Night of My Life’ debuted at No. 6 selling 144,000 copies in its first week. Although the album fell short of producing numbers much like his previous albums, let’s not forget selling in the hundred thousands for your first week sales is still impressive considering the decline in album sales these past few years. The Oscar winner’s previous effort, 2008’s Intuition, entered at No. 3 with 265,000, while his J Records debut Unpredictable came in at No. 2 with 598,000 in 2005.
R&B’s crowned ‘princess of soul’ Keyshia Cole’s fourth album ‘Calling All Hearts’ debuted No. 9 selling 128,000. The album falls short of 2008′s ‘A Different Me’ selling 322,000 in its first week and debuting at No. 2. Again, still impressive.
Good news for Keri Hilson’s sophomore album ‘No Boys Allowed’. Although the album failed to round out the top 10 spot coming in at No. 11, it sold 102,000 copies, an increase from her debut album ‘In A Perfect World’ which sold 94,000 units.
Still holding on to the No. 1 spot for 6 weeks straight, Taylor Swift’s Speak Now closes out the year at No. 1 with 276,000, followed singer Susan Boyle also maintaining her No. 2 spot with The Gift selling (240,000).
Other artists still seeing some impressive numbers with recent releases, Michael Jackson’s Michael No. 5 (150,000), Eminem’s Recovery comes in No. 7 (137,000), Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday, No. 8 (133,000). Rihanna’s Loud rounds out the top 10 with 111,000.
I’m actually feeling this single. Glad that Jamie Foxx decided to release it and even make a video. I sometimes forget that he’s such a great artist as well as an actor. Great look for Drake as well.
I absolutely have to watch this movie when it comes out in theaters! I love Martin Lawrence, he is one of my favorite comedians! Jamie Foxx is funny too but Martin is my man! To top it off they’ll both be portraying two characters they became famous for in the 90′s. Check out Martin Lawrence as “Shenehneh” and Jamie Foxx as “Wanda”!

On Saturday’s Spike TV’s 2009 “Guys Choice Awards” while Jamie Foxx presented Halle Berry with an award, the two wowed audience members when they decided to have an on stage make out session.

The 2009 BET Awards nominations were announced yesterday.
Leading the pack of nominees are Beyonce, Lil’ Wayne and T.I wtih 5 nominations, Keri Hilson, and T-Pain snagged 4, Kanye West, Jazmine Sullivan and Jamie Foxx with 3 and Rihanna with 2 nominations of her own.
The award show will be hosted by Jamie Foxx, held in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28.
Performers include Beyonce, Maxwell and Ne-Yo.
Last night the stars came out for the LA premiere of The Soloist, starring Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. Lance Gross and finace Eva Pigford made an appearance as well as Ms. Halle.
On March 22, a 49 yr. old man, Steven Taliver, attempted to enter the suite of Oscar winner and ” The Soloist” star Jamie Foxx. Taliver pretended to be one of Beyonce’s producers in order to enter the philadelphia hotel. After realizing he didn’t know the man Foxx was able to keep the man from entering his room and shut the door.
In a interview with Access Hollywood, the award winning actor and singer stated, “I can’t talk about it, because we’re still dealing with it on the legal side. But I’m good now. Shout out to Philadelphia and the mayor and everybody else to make sure it’s good.”
“Sometimes you have to make sure every move you make in life is the right thing, and that you have people there to watch your back,” he added.
According to reports, police were then called to the scene and arrested the man on suspicion of stalking and related charges.
