Nicki Minaj kept her word to fans after cancelling her June appearance during Hor 97′s Summer Jam concert following a diss from DJ Rosenberg.
In doing so she brought out 90′s rapstress Foxy Brown whose also a fellow Lil’ Kim nemesis. The event was held at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City.
The line-up also included Drake, Lil’ Wayne and Cam’ron.Take a look at the performance footage below.
Following the cancellation of her Summer Jam performance, Nicki Minaj did not let the night go to waste. The rapper posted photos of herself along with Foxy Brown, dancehall artist Beenie Man and rapper Cam’ron.
Nicki tweeted, “Foxy cam’ron beenie and spragga benz in here gettin bent w/us. We 200 deep. Dancehall on blast!!!!”

As you all should know by now, Nicki cancelled her HOT 97 Summerjam performance Sunday night after the station’s DJ Peter Rosenburg said some not so nice things about her not being a real Hip Hop artist and a sell out.
Prior to the drama it was also rumored Nicki would team up with one of Lil’ Kim’s longtime rivals Foxy Brown. It didn’t take long for Kim to get wind of the news that the two were joining forces against her.
When a fan tweeted the message, “I heard the fake Kim suppose to bring out a fake Kim at summer Jam today. Along with the deaf bitch. Hahaha! Good luck”. Kim was quick to retweet it.
She then retweeted another fan, “that bitch wanna be @lilkim so bad its disgustin’. @lilkim been doin’ a female movement on her tour. She only doin’ it to be kim.”

So just to give you a little update, via a press release, Foxy will be releasing a Lil’ Kim diss track titled ‘Christmas Massacre’. As stated in the release the record will be “the most anticipated response since Jay Z’s ‘Takeover’ and she [Foxy] is set to debut the record at a Christmas eve party in Brooklyn, Club Jelani’s , even giving a shout out to Kim’s other nemesis Nicki Minaj.
Now, I mean this in the nicest possible way. This is just a sad case of two petty, childish and bitter bishes!!! (Yes, I meant to spell it that way)

Jay Z responds to both Teairra Mari and Foxy’s claims of his abandonment when they needed him the most. In case you’ve missed it, Teairra was hurt after being dropped from Def f Jam never to hear another word from J especially since she looked at him as a father figure. As for Foxy, she felt deserted when J didn’t bother to call, write, visit…. when she was incarcerated and even lost her hearing.
In an interview via allhiphop.com Jay Z stated: (as for Foxy) “You know that stuff is going to happen, eventually it’s going to happen. What I’m happy about is, that no matter what people say, no one has ever said that I am dishonest or that I have taken one dime from them…I’ve never cheated anyone out of a dime. No one’s ever said that, right?”
“As far as Foxy or Teairra Marì, these are people that I have given chances to. It’s understandable that they would be upset, but you got to look at it from my point of view as well. I gave Teairra Marì the same shot I gave Rihanna. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.”
When things couldn’t get any worst, a judge issued a warrant for Foxy’s arrest in a Brooklyn courtroom yesterday morning. Luckily for the rap star, the warrant only lasted for a few minutes. It was canceled when Brown’s lawyers informed the judge of an agreement where she did not have to appear. A court meeting was set in conjunction to assault charges filed against Brown for allegedly throwing a cell phone at a neighbor who complained about her car radio being too loud.
Let’s just hope Foxy can change her ways long enough to avoid going back to jail. -CK
