Say what you want about Drake, but one things for sure, he’s talented!
The Canadian rappers has just released new single “Girls Love Beyonce” featuring singer James Fauntleroy. The single sample’s the Destiny’s Child 1999 single “Say My Name”. Drake does a great job of changing the single around from a man’s perspective of feeling vulnerable and being scared but wanting his woman to need him and say his name. Pretty clever. Check it out.
It’s clear Drake needs some loving and cuffing. Too bad Rihanna’s no longer available. Lol.
Just when we thought this lame beef was dying, Drakehas resurrected his on going feud with Chris Brown. Drake fired a few shots during a recent interview when he stated, “his insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that I’m more popping than him, and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap.”
During his interview with Rap Radar‘s Elliot Wilson he continued to throw a few more jabs and even talked a bit about Rihanna.
On Chris Brown’s recent interviews discussing their beef :
Leave that man alone stop preying on his insecurities because his insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that I’m more popping than him, and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap and I did what any real n*gga would do and treated her with respect. So she’s not up there talking down on me and all those things combined creates an individual that comes up to your radio station and is gonna do dumb sh*t….
Drake just lost another round. With Chris Brown that is. First it was Rihanna and now he’s can’t even get in to Playhouse nightclub. All because of Chris Brown that is.
Drake was denied access to the popular LA night because Chris Brown was already there. If you all remember Drake and Breezy’s bottle throwing fiasco in New York City’s WIP nightclub back in June, the promoters at Playhouse refused to take any chances.
According to TattleTailzz.com, “Drake and his crew was trying to get their party on and got “STRAIGHT” denied from entering into Playhouse nightclub. Sources say he was basically begging to get in, offering to spend more than Chris Brown. Drake and his crew made several attempts for about 30 minutes before finally leaving the night club.”
We got our first glimpse of Rihanna‘s nude GQ “Men of the Year”nude cover yesterday, now we’re getting a bit of her one-on-one interview with the magazine. She discusses being seen as just a dolloar sign, becoming a sex symbol, Chris Brown and Drake fighting for her love and the kind of woman she is in a relationship. Take a sneak peek of what she had to say.
“Sometimes a person looks at me and sees dollars. They see numbers and they see a product. I look at me and see art. If I didn’t like what I was doing, then I would say I was committing slavery. ”
On Nearly Getting A Face Tattoo The Night Before Her GQ Interview:
“The tattoo artist said nope, I’m not gonna do it,” she says, “because if you’re looking at your face, it’s right there staring at you.”
Drake has just gotten his High School diploma! For the 25 year old rapper it’s never too late! Ten years after dropping out of school Drake describes his achievement as “one of the best feelings in my entire life.
He tweeted, “97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school!
“Thank you to my teacher Kim Janzen for spending the last 5 months working tirelessly with me!! OVO SOUND.”
Rihanna revealed her recent Vogue magazine cover over the weekend and now we have a bit of her interview with the magazine. She addresses her current “friendship” with Chris Brown and the media’s fascination with their past and present relationship, Chris’ club fight with Drake, her dating life and the infamous Coachella drug photo she posted on Twitter.
On her current love life and dating: “I have not been on a date in forever. Like two years. Haven’t gone to the movies, to dinner. Zero. I would love to go on a date. You don’t think that? I’m a woman. A young woman, vibrant, and I love to have fun. And I have too many vaginas around me at this point. Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my ass back home. He doesn’t even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour. No one asks. Trust me on that. I’m waiting for the man who’s ballsy enough to deal with me. I’m going to wait, though. You always find the wrong shit when you go looking.”
On the media’s fixation on the 2009 Brown assault: “To the world, I feel like there’s no closure. There’s some obsession that’s continued even throughout when we weren’t friends or couldn’t be friends at all. Hated each other. The world hasn’t let go. _______READMORE
Chris Brown and Drake may be shelling $16 million for their W.I.P nightclub bottle throwing brawl this past June. The owner of Greenhouse/W.I.P is suing the artists, claiming they ordered their entourage to throw bottles of champagne, resulting in the June 14th club brawl.
The SoHo club has already incurred over $4 million dollars in losses, possibly more, also garnering a bad reputation following the event. In the aftermath, it was also ordered to close temporarily and was allowed to re-open only after paying a fine and agreeing to hire more security.
NBA player Tony Parker, who attended the club that night, also sued the club for $20 million dollars. Parker suffered an injury to his eye as a result of the uncontrollable brawl. In his lawsuit Parker noted, “I could have lost an eye.”
His case is still pending.
The lawsuit claims both Brown and Drake arrived at Greenhouse’s sister club, W.i.P., with an entourage of “at least 15 heavily built men trained and/or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat.”
