Well it looks like the rumors were true. Britney Spears and fiance Jason Trawick will not be getting married. After announcing just hours ago that she’ll be departing from X Factor USA as a panel judge, Spears has just confirmed the end of her three year relationship in an official statement. “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement,” confirms People.com. “I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.”
“As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever,” adds Trawick.
According to a number of sources, Britney Spears has decided to leave The X Factor USA. Although the news hasn’t been officially confirmed Spears is believed to want out before being fired. We previously reported producers, including Simon Cowell, were disappointed by Spears’ performance on the show after shelling out $15 million and were planning on relieving her of her judging duties.
Spears was believed to bring in ratings and help add more excitement to the show but was rather dull. To add insult to the injury the show’s competition, The Voice, was able to beat the show in ratings for a second season.
As for Britney, she’d like to take time to refocus and revamp her music career.

Britney Spears may be getting her pink slip from Simon Cowell.
Rumor has it, the music mogul wants to fire the singer as the newest X-Factor judge. It seems Britney failed to live up to expectation and brought nothing original to the judging panel. Nearly 15 years of music industry experience behind her and, well, Britney seems to think everyone’s “amazing”, her words not mine. According to sources, Cowell feels Spears didn’t bring in the ratings and was quite boring. In fact, he and producers feel she didn’t earn the $15 million she was paid upfront. Ouch!

Britney Spears may not have fully recovered from her breakdown a few years back. The singer and current X-Factor judge is already stirring up drama on the set during taping of the show’s upcoming season.
Rumor has it, Spears has walked out on two occasions following the auditions of a few contestants. Apparently, Spears didn’t like the way they had performed a few of her own songs. Or perhaps, it’s difficult to watch someone try to be you.
Spears was also, reportedly, very demanding in garnering the 15 million she’ll earn this season.
Well, it’s official! Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are the newest ‘X-Factor’ judges, replacing Paula Abdul and Nicole Schrezenger.
The ladies made their first public appearance along with creator Simon Cowell and fellow judge and music executive L.A. Reid yesterday at the Fox 2012 Programming Presentation Post-Show Party in NYC’s Central Park, Tuesday afternoon.
How much will Spears pocket from this venture? $15 million! Not sure how much Lovato will make however.
Better yet, does Demi Lovato have enough music industry experience to have been casted as a judge? I’m not so sure about this one. Can’t wait to see Britney though! She’s recovered quite nicely since her famous meltdown a few years ago. I’m sure people will tune in to see Brit if not for the talent. Good for her.

It’s been rumored for weeks but it looks like Britney Spears will join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as an X-Factor judge. The singer has reportedly signed a $15 million deal as guest judge to Simon Cowell’s U.S. X-Factor singing competition. It’s said Cowell desperately wanted the singer to join the show after giving Paula Adbul and Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones the boot last season.
“There’s been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she’s on,” a source told E! News. “It’s all completed and Britney is beyond excited.”
Although the news is yet to be confirmed by Spears’ camp the rumors are believed to be true.
