Bobby Brown must be surrounded by guardian angels. After his third DUI charge and a 55 days sentence, he was freed after only nine hours behind bars.

According to TMZ, “Brown checked into L.A. County Jail at 9:58 AM Wednesday. He was released at 6:58 PM. Interesting … an L.A. County Sheriff’s spokesperson said just days ago Brown would serve 9 days … but the jails are bursting at the seams and this is what happens … Brown was arrested in October after driving erratically on an L.A. street. He pled no contest to DUI and driving on a suspended license. It was his second DUI arrest in 7 months.”

Following his release, Bobby has since been placed under house arrest and has to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet for just 8 days. He will remain on 4 years probation and has to attend alcohol education classes for 18 months.

Bobby Brown Checks Into Rehab

Bobby Brown has reportedly checked himself in rehab for alcohol addiction.

A source close to the singer tells news site TMZ, “ [Bobby] decided that he needed help and wants to make the best out of the rest of his life for his children’s sake.”

It’s no secret Bobby has battled substance abuse for many years. Perhaps, the unfortunate passing of his ex, the late Whitney Houston who succumbed to her own substance abuse, has inspired him to make a change for the better.

We wish you well Bobby.

Bobby Brown Marries Alicia Etheredge In Hawaii

Bobby Brown has finally married longtime girlfriend and mother to his youngest son, Alicia Etheredge. The ceremony was held Monday in Honolulu, HI following a performance with his ‘New Edition’ bandmates.

Although kids Landon, La’Princia and Bobby Jr. were all in attendance, Bobbi Kristina skipped out on the nuptials. She was actually spotted filming for her new reality show ‘The Houston Family Chronicles’ alongside “step-brother” and boyfriend Nick Gordon as well as aunt Pat Johnson this past weekend.

That should be interesting enough to watch right? Especially with all the rumors and controversy surrounding her relationship with Gordon.

On another note, congrats Bobby!
