Monica celebrated her 30th birthday with finance Shannon Brown by her side at a local L.A venue, Phillipe Chow. The event occurred this past weekend, October 24th, with lots of celebrity guests in attendance, such as rapper Trina, Khloe Kardashian and Vanessa and Angela Simmons.

During a brief interview with celebrity blogger Carlton Jordan she discusses her support and charity work on behalf of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, her engagement, doing another reality show and why she recently came off twitter.

In today’s music news, it was recently reported by various sources on the net that in honor of her birthday Keyshia would release single “I Ain’t Through” with Nicki Minaj today. However, we’re all still waiting to hear the single for the first time.

On a brighter note, however, Keyshia will indeed release her fourth and self titled album this December.

Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of former girl group TLC was spotted at Nick Cannon’s 30th birthday bash looking quite stunning over the weekend. The bash, thrown by wife Mariah Carey was held at Lavo in New York City Friday night October 8, 2010.

I must say, she looked amazing and in great shape. The 39 yr. old looks flawless. For that reason she is my fashion pick for the week!
