Angela Bassett has done it again. She has managed to look even hotter at another movie premiere. It was just last week that we thought the 54 year old actress looked stunning at the ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ screening in New York City. And here she is, yet again, at another premiere in a strapless fitted pale yellow embellished dress and open-toe silver pumps.
And, Angela is still in great shape. loving her toned physique.

Angela Bassett was spotted arriving at The Cinema Society for the screening of “Olympus Has Fallen” at Tribeca Grand Hotel Monday night in New York City.

Actress Alfre Woodward, hosted a dinner party to honor Taraji P Henson and Viola Davis. Taraji P Henson and Viola Davis were both nominated by the Academy (Oscars) for “Best Supporting Actress”. Trajai, for her role in the “Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and Viola, for “Doubt”. (The event was sponsored by Grey Goose.)
Also in attendance were, Tracy Ellis Ross, Kimberly Elise, Halle Berry, Angela Bassett,Regina Hall, Sanaa Lathan,and Regina King.
Angela Bassett, Common, Taraji P. Henson, Ludacris, and Katy Perry were only some celebs who looked sheek and stunning at this year’s Critics’ Choice Award. You can look forward to seeing Angela in ‘Notorious’ where she plays Voletta Wallace (B.I.G’s momma), and Taraji in the newly released Curious Case of Benjamin Button where she is receiving rave reviews. Congrats to both ladies. Katy Perry looks fabulous, she’s usually more edgy with her fashion but this is a very classic look for her.
Take a closer look into the upcoming biopic of the late Notorious B.I.G’s life via the Notorious movie trailer. It’s probably the most anticipated release in 2009. Notorious starring Derek Luke as Diddy, Gravy as B.I.G and Angela Bassett as Biggie’s mom Voletta Wallace. I must say Angela Bassett is overdue for an oscar! When I first heard the news that she was enlisted to portray Biggie’s mom in the biopic I thought she wasn’t the right fit for this role. But it’s grown on me. Notorious is set to be released on January 16th.
