Despite what you make have heard, Beyonce and Adele have not signed on to sing for the First Lady during her 50th birthday bash next January.
Over the weekend, news leaked that Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday bash was not only underway, she would have singers Adele and Beyonce perform at the celebration.

Adele has given birth to a healthy baby boy. This is the first child for the 24-year-old singer and boyfriend Simon Konecki, who already has a 5 year old daughter from a previous relationship, confirms Us Weekly. Back in June Adele confirmed the news that she was expecting when she posted a message on her official website.
“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together,” Adele wrote. “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx.”
“The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting!” explains a close source. The insider also confirms that Adele’s new album will be lighter in tone than her breakup-themed disc 21, released in early 2011.
Adele is going to be a mom!
The 24 year old UK singing sensation confirmed the news on her official website earlier today.
She wrote, “Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.”
“I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”
Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki, 38, went public back in January and have recently sparked rumors of an engagement. The singer was spotted wearing, what looked to be, a diamond engagement ring just last month.
No confirmation on the engagement but we are excited for the singer. It’s no secret a previous relationship left her heartbroken, motivating her to pen songs for her six time Grammy winning critically acclaimed album ’21′.
She’s so deserving. Congrats Adele!

During a recent interview with the UK’s Jonathan Ross Show, Rihanna opened up discussing the single life and loving Adele’s music at the moment.
On Being Single
“Yes I am a single lady. This is not something I enjoy. Single life is overrated,” she explained. “You always want to be single when you are in a relationship but trust me it is no bueno. You don’t want to live your life and then meet someone, you want to share your life with someone. I feel like that is what I am missing right now.” She then described her ideal man as being, “cool, fun, funny”.
Her Obsession With Adele
“Really I came to the Brits to stalk Adele, it was nothing about the awards or the performance, for me it was just to see Adele again. She doesn’t know the depth of my affection. She has no idea.” Rihanna adds she eventually had to stop listening to Adele’s Grammy Award-winning sophomore record, ’21′, because it made her sad. “I had to stop listening to it cuz it was depressing me so much. You become so attached to the stories, it’s really something you identify with.”
