Keke Palmer Heads To Broadway As First Black Cinderella

Keke Palmer has one more reason to smile these days! The twenty year old actress and singer has made some great accomplishments this year. Palmer not only made history, earlier this year, by becoming the youngest in television history to host her own daytime talk show, ‘Just Keke,’ but she will now become the first African American female actress to play the role of Cinderella on Broadway.

Of the news, Keke shared her excitement with fans on social media , on Monday. She tweeted, “I’m sooooo excited to be doing broadway for the first time, as Cinderella!! DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!”

Palmer later followed up with this message,

UNDERSTAND ME WHEN I SAY THIS: You can do anything you want to do! Your life is your life & your belief in YOU will make it all it can be! Don’t stop at anything, spread LOVE & allow God to guide you, bless you all! Let your light shine my angels!

“Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella” is set to make its debut September 9th.

Congratulations Keke!

You can catch Keke during her daily talk show on BET week days at 5pm ET.
