Once cuffed in the back seat of a patrol unit … Ray allegedly kicked out a window of the vehicle

He was booked in a Beverly Hills police department for trespassing, vandalism, resisting arrest, and battery which involved spitting on one of the officers.

*Update: We now know that Ray J was kicked out of a Beverly Hills hotel after smacking a woman’s ass. Someone from the hotel then called police to report the sexual battery.

When cops arrived a confrontation ensued.

The cops then decide the incident was not a sexual battery but “incidental.”

Ray J made contact with a woman’s ass at a swanky Bev Hills hotel, and that’s why someone called the cops to report a sexual battery … which led to a violent confrontation and his arrest.

Apparently Ray J was asked to leave and all was ok, until he got to the valet area, where cops say he became belligerent and then refused drive off.

Hotel security made a citizen’s arrest and BHPD cops obliged and took Ray into custody.

TMZ broke the story … Ray kicked out the back window of the police vehicle and spit in an officer’s face.

Head over to TMZ to watch as Ray was recorded leaving the police precinct. He seemed pretty nonchalant by the entire ordeal.
