It’s official guys, Kandi Burruss and fiance Todd Tucker have finally set a wedding date!
It’s no secret that the engaged couple have delayed their wedding plans due to Burruss’ meddling mom, Mama Joyce, disapproving of her relationship — something we’ve been a witness to on popular reality series, “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” But, in a recent interview with Jet magazine, Burruss reveals that she and Todd are moving full speed ahead with their plans to get married.
“We are moving forward,” she revealed as the covergirl of Jet magazine’s March 31 issue. “I have a date, but I’m not saying.”
“I haven’t decided yet if I want something that’s small and just us or if we wanted to do something bigger and invite people. What was stopping me from even planning is the fact that my mom is not being supportive,” she told ABC News radio last year. “It’s like, okay do I really want to have a wedding and my mom may not show up or if she does show up she’s going to be mean and negative? You know, you don’t want the bad energy either.”
The question now lies whether the couple will get a reality show spin-off and put their wedding on television. Other housewives cast mates, Kim Zolciak and most recently Nene Leakes, have done just that.
After all, the couple did find love of TV. The two met during season 4 of the popular reality series while Todd had been among the casting/production crew.
What do you think CK readers, would you love to see Kandi and Todd walk down the aisle on their own show?
