Chris Brown Rejects Plea Deal In DC Assault Case

Chris Brown is unwilling to accept any plea deal in his Washington, DC arrest and assault charge last October.

If the singer had taken the deal, he would had to plead guilty to assault for his altercation with a DC man outside the W Hotel following a Howard University homecoming event. The same assault charge which resulted in the singer spending nearly 48 hours behind bars (See HERE).

After rejecting the deal, in the 10 minute court hearing, Brown and his attorney, Mark Geragos, was seen leaving the D.C. Superior Court at approximately 2:15 PM, Wednesday afternoon.

Brown’s altercation, allegedly, began when the man in question approached the singer for a photograph and proceeded to board his tour bus without the singer’s permission.

Brown’s next court hearing is scheduled for February 20th. We will keep you posted.
