Amber Rose unveiled the above photo, early Wednesday morning, showing off her post-baby body. Although, it has been eight months since delivering son, Sebastian, Rose found it difficult to lose the baby weight. After unveiling the photo, where she looks fantastic, I must say she also shared a message with fans. She discusses the pressure of losing weight, post baby, in Hollywood.
“I’m almost at my goal weight. Just 7 pounds to go! Absolutely no surgery just diet & exercise. Most celebs give u false hope when u have a baby ( My son was 9lbs) and in 3 months ur supposed to be skinny again…..,” Rose wrote on social sharing site Instagram.
“It’s not realistic in most cases. It takes 6 weeks to heal before u could even work out,” she continued. “Anyway, the moral of the story is losing baby weight the natural way takes longer but it’s much healthier for ur body and helps u stay strong to carry another baby. So don’t put ur life at risk for societies standards of when ur suppose to lose ur pregnancy weight. Take ur time & don’t take the easy way out – Muva”
We have to applaud Amber for her honestly. And, yes, she is right.
Some women in Hollywood make it look so easy, not pointing out the chef they’ve hired to cook nutritional meals, a nutritionist and fitness coach to help keep them on track and an assistant to help balance out their hectic daily schedules. Although we don’t knock them for it, fact is, some of these women are blessed to have the means to hire help when the every day working moms are stretched thin with little means and little assistance.
Keep up the great work Amber and thank you for inspiring new moms letting them know that they can do it too.
