“The Best Man Holiday” made a surprising debut at the box office, over the weekend. The Malcolm D. Lee film, not only gave “Thor: The Dark World” (earning $38 million) a run for its money, the film earned nearly twice the amount of its $17 million budget.
The film, 15 years in the making, brought together a group of college friends, during the Christmas holiday, rehashing old rivalries, romances and unsolved issues.
The film also brought back all original cast mates including, Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, Terrance Howard, Morris Chestnut, Monica Calhoun and Harold Perrineau.
Congratulations to the entire “Best Man” cast and writer, director and producer Malcolm D. Lee.
