Kelly Clarkson made the announcement this past Saturday that she is newly engaged to boyfriend Brandon Blackstock.

She tweeted to close to 2.5 million followers, “I’M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever ”

She followed up not long after with, “Everyone has been asking about my engagement ring, so here it is It’s a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around …”, with the below photo attached.

Blackstock, a talent manager, is actually fellow singer Reba McEntire‘s stepson. The couple have been dating for about a year and are from the same hometown in Texas.

Congrats to the happy couple.
